They want to post stuff where nobody knows if their source is accurate or FOS and then are upset when rationale persons are not buying it......I guess we should have accepted that PS5 is 9.2TF, some people are here even now trying to force it down our throats or whatever number they come up with.....If someone comes up with some stats, mentions games that are coming, I'd give more credence to that, but simply quoting a number and then saying the PS5 has no headroom and XBOX has lots of headroom sounds made up and fanboyish at best,,,,,None of the devs know what final PS5 specs will be yet apart from Cerny/Sony, Guerilla didn't even know we would get 8GB till very late...….

Yes, I'd say it was a price balance more than anything...….Many rumors suggest Sony considered a $500 PRO, they had 64 Rops which was not fed, XBONEX had 32 Rops I year later...….If Sony went for a $500 PRO, they would have added 4-8 more GB's and boosted the cooling solution and bandwidth in 2016, but they were adamant on $399 as an important factor in purchasing decisions based on a research they did prior to PS4, so they settled on that......A $500, 64 ROPS 12GB PRO would have been much more powerful than what XBONEX delivered a year later in 2017......

That's why I always tell folk, Sony is always ahead of the hardware curve......Those who are lowballing, I hope they don't run away when the heat comes, they always seem to run away at the slightest hint of "Nah, I'm not buying your leaks".....And the people always asking if something is confirmed after every leak, after every Pastebin and GitHub spiel, know this....The only time PS5 specs will be official is when Sony says it, you wont miss it. There will be a huge dedicated thread stipulating just that, that Sony said it, not Joe Blow, Brad Sams, Klobrille, Crapgamer and that band....

Just my 2 cents but I am 99% sure Lockhart is real and if it is priced say half of the XsX is will way outsell the XsX to the masses.

the problem you have is MS official specs vs zero official Sony specs combined with heresay leaker specs which aren’t even the same anyway.

And because Sony seems to be dragging it out unlike last gen where they did a Feb reveal, you don’t like people having fun guesstimating specs especially when someone says PS5 will be weaker than SeX, but surely don’t mind it when someone says PS5 is more than SeX.

Aside from fanboys (from both sides)... NO ONE CARES. Really.

Probably there is a difference between stronger and better performing.

O'dium and BGs hinted that less teraflops may perform better. Even if the difference is 11.6 vs 12 or 12.4.

1. SSD implementation. GPU decompression of data might draw resources;
2. Better API and more advanced and refined tools;
3. Higher clocks. 52 CU x 1800 mhz may perform better vs 56 CU x 1700 mhz;
4. Better RT Implementation;
5. Memory
6. Better engines and so on.

My honest personal opinion is that:
1. Sony will go with 11.6 tflops, smaller console form factor and quiet but louder than XsX cooling;
2. Microsoft will go with 12.3 tflops, tower form factor and very quiet cooling.

Also, i have a feeling (pure speculation) that PS5 is developed around it's SSD implementation. Probably we will get a draw between two consoles.

XsX will perform slightly better in some modes;
PS5 will perform better in other modes.

You guys are way off. If you google PS3 Nvidia, you should be able to find some ppt slides from a presentation 15 years ago saying PS3 is 2.5 TF. Ya, teraflops! Lol
