So no, by definition, there's no payment coming in.

Thousands of years I assume? Probabl too old .God damn OP, how old are you?
Mods here do a good job . In my mind.
They are fair and have a sence of humor not to get offended too easy.
But what they could do a better job on is delete secondary or dummy accounts.
There are a lot of user here that do drive by postings now more so then ever before given the reignited console war that will take this forum over for the whole year.
These mentioned accounts are years old with a post count in the low hunderts or not even a 100.
Its clear that they are used to troll or to insult others.
If any mode reads this let me know how we can help to filter these out and how to report them.
Yes, deleted posts can still be seen by administrators in the forum software.Moderation is good so far, yet I have a question. Do deleted post by mods show up somewhere?
On the other hand I suppose Evilore has an eye on all of that. I'm just a bit frightened whenever I hear "post has been deleted by mods", because bad things happened in the past, you know.

Why delete the post at all if they're just going to display it somewhere else for the public to see?Amazing idea
Can we have a thread of all the deleted posts?
I'm sure Officer Doofy will be just fine.I feel sorry for OP already
Where is the cheese?
EZ on the cheese
FREEDOM OF SPEECH
Posts like this that are deleted are basically just hidden from public view. Other moderators and admins are able to still see them and take action on them, if needed.Moderation is good so far, yet I have a question. Do deleted post by mods show up somewhere?

Additionally, administrators have access to a "moderator log" that shows what action was taken, on what post/thread, by what moderator, when, and even that moderator's IP address. While we may not continuously monitor this log, it's available for us to review if the need arises.
I would, in fact, shill on the internet for money.
Why attack me personally when you don't know me, did i touch a nerve?

FREEDOM OF SPEECH
It's probably one of the mods who's the Microsoft soyboy.
A while ago I got barred from a thread with a warning for console warring, while I said nothing bad.
Evilore reverted the decision because there wasn't anything wrong with what I said.
Last week the same happened because I made a comment that triggered a bunch of Xbox fans.
Some mods are far from objective. Lol

This is true. You guys aren't all-seeing and there are a lot of threads to read on any given day so you're bound to miss stuff. Unfortunately, some people choose not to report anything which isn't smart if they're only going to complain about inaction later. That’s not what it is.
As I have said in other threads in the past, we can’t see everything. 90% of our actions are done through the report feature.
I will sometimes action or step in to “course correct” with a reminder post if I am hanging out in threads and see something myself as well.
We rely on the report feature. If we don’t see many reports, we assume the community is operating and tolerating the current state of the climate (sorry Greta).
If you see a post that you feel is trolling or stepping over the line, please utilize the report feature. I can’t stress that enough. But with that said, don’t abuse it either. Some posts, while fanatical in tone, are not actionable and should be challenged back. Those are usually the ones we reject.
This is community is each and every one of yours as well. Help shape it and be more proactive and less reactive.
