Easy Allies |OT3| "That sounds like the GameTrailers guy!"

I feel like people often exaggerate how bad YouTube comments are. What the comments are like depends on the community, of course, but I think that for the most part they're all right, EZA comment sections included.

I decided to take a look at the comments on the latest podcast and have decided that this is the most wrong post on NeoGAF ever.

That and basically alt-junior accounts talking points cranked up to 11 from the last two threads on the subject matter..

This week's podcast's comment section is worse than usual. Even then, I've seen much worse.

Because I'm not gonna look at them, I assume it's largely focused on Ian?

Cause he was on fire in the podcast.
Saw a couple of comments mention Ian, but it's mostly just about Pewdiepie.

I just scrolled through the youtube comments. it's all about the pewdiepie question. looks like a bunch of people saying "people make mistakes" etc, and saying they don't want to hear EZA broach serious topics.

Can't stand when wannabe indie kids walk around in these Bloc Party tees...

Name me one of their paintings.

what joke am i missing here

Gaming community in the last month has had non-ironic debates about whether it's okay to be a white supremacist, whether we should sympathize with Nazis, and whether it's okay to say the n-word.

It's the year 2017.

Edit: FUCK

None of the stuff they bet on is going to happen during TGS lol.
the 5 new game announcements from last year:
EDF5, Musou Stars, Gundam VS, DQ+FF Fortune Street, that VR No Heroes game
nothing big

I think there's a chance of maybe a new Platinum game? but not any of the other things

I think there's easily a possibility of a FROM game. Remember the game announcements are just during the time frame of TGS and not the conference itself.

The year before that was pretty good though: Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza 6, King of Fighters 14, Bloodborne expansion, Gravity Daze 2 etc.

I keep refreshing the Hong Kong PSN store to see if an English version of Fortune Street comes up. The one that's there specifically says "Chinese Ver." so there's hope.

I was thinking that, but then I realized that'd be such a big announcement I think it'll be an E3 thing

I thought Ben's Sega final bet was going to be about PSO2, lol.

From is (among other things) almost certainly working on a new Armored Core, that's much more of a Japan centered announcement IMO.

Platinum could also easily have something, they're always working on multiple projects, and they're not above doing mercenary work. They already have the two announced Cygames games they're working on though.

Soul Calibur is probably a dead franchise, and I'm not sure there's a lot of space for it either with all the other fighters around.
.
For Team Ninja it's probably too soon after Nioh, unless it a smaller scale thing.

REmake could have gameplay, probably simply comes down to if it's far along enough to show.

DMC5 would make the show for me, but might be too big for TGS.

DBZ Fighters new character: sure, but they're showing a new character like every other week, that's like the most sure thing bet.

One they didn't mention and I think is actually pretty likely is a new SNK game, probably Samurai Shodown.

Not that I think all of that stuff is happening, but a lot of it has a decent chance outside of the final betting stuff which they went intentionally over the top with.

Is Ian posing as anyone specific in the thumbnail?

They're all classic JoJo poses. Ben is Jotaro from Part 3 (Stardust Crusaders), Ian is Jolyne from Part 6 (Stone Ocean), Huber is Josuke from Part 4 (Diamond Is Unbreakable), and Damiani is Jonathan from Part 1 (Phantom Blood) of the classic horror/action/supernatural/thriller/western/travelogue/crime/fashion/music/Italy/mystery/romance/comedy manga JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

The question now is who do the Coast Division pose as for their thumbnail?

I know JoJo but thanks for the write up. Just couldn't place Ian. Damiani reminds me more of Caesar.
