Given that I can find no secondary sources talking about the exile of significant numbers of black participants in the Jacobite uprising, I'm going to call bullshit. If it's true, then other people will have written about it. All I see are claims of Scots sold into slavery, which is dubious as well.

As a historian of 18th century Scotland I can assure you this isn't true. There weren't even that many transportation due to the '45 anyway.

As far as I know no black people were involved. Certainly none would have been involved on the Jacobite side. That would have been widely mentioned. The Highlanders weren't even used to English/Scots speaking Lowlanders.
