So, while maybe not legally in the wrong, it is still something that is highly damaging and can put Americans in direct danger due to his lack of basic competence.

I went to go look up some info on declassification to see what if any issues comes from this. My understanding is classification rulings are literally handled via the executive order system, as president he has the authority to at any time amend the rules of classification so in theory he could post declassify it after giving it out as he is the ultimate authority on what can be declassified. As far as I can tell the rules are stilled based on the system Obama created with an executive order in 2009.

High crimes and misdemeanors aren't actually defined. If Congress was united enough to remove the president at will, they could.

"High Crimes" mostly just means unbecoming conduct based on vague duties that high officers are imputed to have. It wasn't considered a vague term at the time it was written and was meant to include things such as bribery, appointing unfit subordinates, and other imaginary "crimes" that only can happen if you're the President or the King or a Judge.
