Very interested to see how completable the game is, in terms of showing you what quests are available at any time. Don't wanna miss quests by failing to go to a specific diner at a specific point in the story

Yea the lit up areas are just where he has been. All the sand-colored area in that zone is explorable.

Would it be viable if a patch prevents you from playing the game ~3 days before release? I'm against making the consumer pay for other's mistakes, but when stuff like this happens, a game being out in the wild 2 weeks in advance, I feel like the developer should take measures.

According to Digital Foundry and NXGamer it is 4k checkerboard rendering from a native 1800p resolution. We don't now about the AA solution.
Even though the resolution is so much higher than that of the base PS4 900p-1080p version the difference is very minor. The dithered hair basically looks the same.
The rest of the Pro image looks perfectly fine, although it is not as clear and sharp as other 1800p games on the Pro.

Yojimbo from X, but I'm pretty sure that is the name of the monster. Before Yojimbo was used as the name of a summon, it was a variation of a samurai enemy in an older FF game. The word "Yojimbo" has meaning in Japanese and roughly refers to a samurai for hire, as I understand it.

Yes. It's not even a spoiler really, it's a regular monster revealed in a glitch in the Judgment Disc before the game leaked into the wild. So don't worry about it too much.

As I understand it, this hasn't leaked yet, but a book readily available in screenshots and I believe in the Judgment Disc refers to six of them. No real surprises. Ifrit, Shiva, Leviathan, Titan, Ramuh and Bahamut. In addition, we've seen Carbuncle. There's another potential one as well if you've watched Kingsglaive.

I doubt we'll get more than that, Tabata mentioned the number was small and most of the mandatory guys are accounted for.
