I think i was spoiled the same video the others in this thread were. I'm pretty sure it's optional but i wish that was something I could have saved. Definitely leaves me hope for post game stuff tbh.

I love how the amazing derail this thread has gotten. This is probably the best pre-release XV thread.
And is being played by people right now.
Still haven't heard any impressions from those who got the game early yet.
My most anticipated thread this year easily, even more than TLG's lol.

I have zero insight into the game or storyline structure, but when I read his earlier impressions I did a complete WTF. Doubly so when people starting raving about his summary at the end.
I analyze reports and data for a living, so I'll admit I approach things with skepticism and a very critical eye. With that lens, there was absolutely nothing of substance in the impressions. It was a series of ambiguous generalities strung together.
I'll agree with Jason that I could've written that based on demo gameplay footage and previews. That's not too say the poster is a liar. Just that nothing he provided indicates firsthand experience. There are ways to remain spoiler free while still providing gameplay insight.
Also, how long is this game? Was there even enough time between broken street date and completion? I need to review his impressions, because I believe he mentioned how long he played.

I think broken street dates have no bearing on how Verendus professes to have gotten ahold of the game.

I was at work all day (work 12+ hour shifts) and only saw the Verendus impressions shortly after I got there, and I was thoroughly hyped, was ready to throw down on a PS4 Pro to do FF15 right and get that party started. Then I read a few pages after and saw people doubting the validity of it all and I was shook. Being torn, I didn't bother reading through other posts, but I will say, if it's all bs, then that was a lot of stuff for him to type up just to fool people on the internet... unless of course he's a secret undercover SE agent.
