What's the open worldly type stuff like? Is it just "drive from point a to b" instead of a cutscene or is there side stuff?
Yes you can turn that stuff off. I did.

Awesome. For the record, some guys on Beyond3D concluded that they think there's improved GI / lighting in some of the less open environments and levels, so that's another thing to consider.

And really, this games graphics are absolutely phenomenal. The temporal AA hurts it a bit in the form of the artifacts that are sometimes noticeable but how clean the image is is absolutely crazy.

I'm sure we'll get better quality comparison shots as from my understanding that segment is still in the game, but it's not like these in-game (not cut-scene) character models don't already look great.

Nice.The best thing I can say a out the mechanics so far is that it's pretty much the MP mechanics in SP. 30FPS aside, it's translated incredibly well and actually work better given that enemies react when getting shot at.

Wow just wow. I just Beyond3D. VFX_Veteran who was banned in Neogaf for bashing Uncharted 4 and insulting everyone who proves that he was always wrong and not agreeing with him. He no longer can spread his poison here but keeps spreading in Beyond3d. I think his sole goal in existence is to downplay this game as if he was hired or sth.

Dang this is the most beautiful game ever. This is very impressive for ingame model but it looks like self shadowing is turned off and the SSS not as intense as the cutscenes.

The SSS appears to be exactly the same to me. You can even see greater examples of it in gameplay such as with Drake's ears here.
And subtly in this gameplay shot too.
Direction and staging more so. He still wakes up but everything else is different really.
Guys it's the best looking game ever, don't worry.
Messed around with a few more encounters, this time with rope action. Swinging around a battle is fun as hell. His jump from the rope super falcon punch is way over powered though, that thing locks on to anyone nearby like a missile, physics be damned drake is going to punch him.
