How did you get access to the beta? Did you get a code? Did you have a client to download? Please help.

A week ago, I went to Amazon.com and preordered the game.

I got a code.

I punched that code in yesterday.

I downloaded a file.

I now have Overwatch.

Thanks...that should help out a few people. I wish this had gone live several hours ago as now the wondrous PSN download speeds says it's going to take 6 hours to download a simple 4.5 gb beta....awesome!!!

Oh. It's like.. tf2 with dota 2 abilities? I dunno, that could be fun I guess, but after a few rounds it seems like one of those games where you have to communicate with your team to be successful, and I'll take a pass on that. Pretty glad I didn't buy it. Doesn't really seem like a Blizzard game, but what even is a Blizzard game these days.

Feel like an ass having used a friend code to play it, though. I bet there's someone out there who would've really liked it.

At least you gave it a chance for an hour....


Hopefully they figure out the PS4 servers looking forward to it since I never did get into the PC betas. Everything is fresh and new!

I will miss the 24/32 player dedicated server community aspect of TF2. But I've hung up that game for a while, so OW being a spiritual successor to TF2 is so badass.

character tier list is dependent on map and enemy comp. balance is very good in this game with a few outliers based off gosugamers competitive tourneys

mcree is typically regarded as best all around front liner/flank killer due to kill potential with headshots at midrange and hammer fan at close range. iirc mei is the least popular hero in competitive but this hardly means that she's bad, most people find her pretty rage inducing to play against actually

I can definitely feel that impression coming from Mei. She feels very slow to play but she's such a defensive tank that I can imagine frustration trying to approach her.

This random hero mode is pretty fun. I got the dwarf dude at the beginning on Attack so I placed the turret on the payload and they couldn't do anything against us escorting it. 15-0 lol

Edit: Oh and I don't know what it is but I fucking suck with DVA.

Agreed. Spy times were so relaxed or insane depending on your approach.
