my biggest fear in overwatch is that blizzard do what valve did with CS:GO console versions which is never release updates and let the game rotten, and i'm still getting failed to connect

For those who pre-ordered on PSN and did not see the game in your library; mine just finally showed up a few minutes ago so check your game library and you may see yours too

Blizzard doesn't do this, they've kept Diablo III up to date with the PC version - PLUS they've made console-specific tuning for OW on consoles. It'll be fine. They're not Valve, they actually care about consumers.

So strange. I was able to download and update this earlier this morning, but now the client is stating that I can't participate...what?

Out of general curiosity, in the previous betas, was there any character that was considered to be something of an objectively "best" character? Just asking to figure out how the balance of such a wide cast is handled.

First time playing this and right now I'm having a lot of fun with Tracer and Widowmaker.

Not really no. Everyone plays their part.

character tier list is dependent on map and enemy comp. balance is very good in this game with a few outliers based off gosugamers competitive tourneys

mcree is typically regarded as best all around front liner/flank killer due to kill potential with headshots at midrange and hammer fan at close range. iirc mei is the least popular hero in competitive but this hardly means that she's bad, most people find her pretty rage inducing to play against actually

Here is the PSN web store link for the game as well. Again, you have to have pre-ordered digitally to be able to use this, cause your account apparently has a license attached.

If anyone digitally pre-ordered on Xbox and needs to download the beta, you should be able to get it from here

Thanks...that should help out a few people. I wish this had gone live several hours ago as now the wondrous PSN download speeds says it's going to take 6 hours to download a simple 4.5 gb beta....awesome!!!

Oh. It's like.. tf2 with dota 2 abilities? I dunno, that could be fun I guess, but after a few rounds it seems like one of those games where you have to communicate with your team to be successful, and I'll take a pass on that. Pretty glad I didn't buy it. Doesn't really seem like a Blizzard game, but what even is a Blizzard game these days.

Feel like an ass having used a friend code to play it, though. I bet there's someone out there who would've really liked it.
