Dark Souls 3 releasing tomorrow in Japan is the worst

It's super easy to not get spoiled on the internet. I don't really understand the issue here, just wait 3 weeks and don't read about DS3.
 
My biggest issue is how stupid I'd feel with a Japanese copy of the game after the 3 weeks inevitably flies by.

I'm nearly 28 and the way time is moving for me nowadays, I fucking wish 3 weeks felt like an eternity.

Yup, a troll last year spoiled something importing about FO4 in a yourube video about politics and has nothing to do with games and kept spamming the spoiler

also someone spoiled BB's final boss in non BB related video

just 2 simple examples that spoilers aren't gonna be on a game's related threads. articles or videos.

I've been pretty good at avoiding DS3 spoilers so far. So three more weeks isn't too big of a deal to me. The only thing that I really know about the game is that I should be wary of CREEPY GIANT SKELETON HEADS when trudging about in Tomb of Giants 2.0.
 
Yeah, I would have liked to see this release earlier, but I'll deal with it. Funny thing is that I have a bunch of games that I could finish, but I'm not in the mood to play them because I'm usually interested in what's on the horizon.
 
So, Bloodborne had Japanese voices (not sure if from the beginning), so will the JP version of DS3 only have that? Anyone know?

I had someone join a TF2 game randomly, spoil the ending of Starcraft 2 and then fuck off.
 
Really don't have a problem though it'd be nice if I could play it now. It's so easy to just completely ignore threads. Practice

I'm looking forward to Fire Emblem Fates (stupid PAL delay) but I know literally nothing about it. Don't recall even opening a thread after the initial announcement. Same with Zero Escape 3.

Hype culture sucks. Go do something else and the game will come out before you know it.
 
Even worse is that I won't have internet set up until the 19th.

Considering just not playing the game until then so I don't miss some great messages like the infamous 'amazing chest ahead'.

I think playing it with a friend/friends or a small community that also tries to go in blind is the way to go. True exchange of knowledge without cheesing your way through. Especially in this case people will have explored most of the game before the majority of the world can even touch it. :D

Hey if you able to play english version at tomorrow, please report here before start playing, because i guess i will by it via Japan store too(even it's more expensive lol), thanks!
 
Some Twitch dudes got the english version and are even allowed to Stream. Meanwhile it gets delayed 3 weeks for no reason other than "lol look at the guys streaming the game early get hyped!"

It's such bullshit marketing but oh well.
 
Regarding the discussion of xbox one region switching, theres been numerous post on the ds3jpn subreddit saying that it hasnt been working for recent games.

Usually you aren't going to see this kind of stuff outside of a site that deals with some kind of entertainment that allows posting. And of course the typical stuff like Facebook and Twitter. It's not that hard to go on a blackout, unless your life revolves around these sites.

Yeah, I'm increasingly getting nostalgia for when a day actually felt like a day, instead of a couple of hours. (If that.)

Time is a swiftly moving river. We'll be past the crags of hype and at release day lagoon in not time.
 
Really wish they would release the back compat for DS1 on DS3 JP release to distract me, also gotta remember to delete my cookies so my youtube isn't flooded with dark souls spoilers from the streams.

Quick question:

I have both my JP and US account set as primary on the PS4. If I have DS3 downloaded through the JP account, can I log in to the US account and play on that? If so, can I play multiplayer using the US account's PS+?

They're only playing the first third of the game I read in the thread earlier.
 
With the recent screenshots of translated item/weapon, npc dialouge and start screen,you perry much get the English version tom. You don't need wiki just open up the screen shots when needing to read a description and whatnot. 3 weeks is a long ass time to ask a Souls player to wait. Trying to avoid spoilers wold be hard to do.

My game unlocks in a day. Beyond stoked.
