What a fucking joke.
ummm....what, explain why?
What a fucking joke.
It was confirmed that the game supports 4K and unlocked frame rates.

Why is this a joke?
The whole thing.RECOMMENDED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR 1920X1080P
OS: 64 bit Windows 10 - version 1511
Processor: Intel Core i5 @3.5GHz+ or AMD FX 8-core
Memory: 16 GB RAM (4 GB VRAM)
Graphics: GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon R9 290X
Hard Drive: 60 GB available space
DirectX 12
It's a remaster of a 360 game that runs on XBOne and it's recommended to have a 970?
As if a higher framerate and higher graphical settings are not responsible for said recommendation? Wouldn't that be more logical than some rare and unfounded explanation whereby a 970 running the game is similar to xb1? Recomended settings are opaque... and everyone here is acting like it means X graphics at X framerate. We really... could not possibly know beyond that which is logically consistent. And no game runs like an xb1 with xb1 settings on a 970.Even in much higher resolution with some enabled FX on PC and better textures this game is not looking that great to require 16 GB RAM and 4 GB VRAM, not to mention 60 GB HDD space which is just redicilous.
ooooo
they are giving recs for 4k now......pretty cool. Hoping everyone does this in the future. I like knowing what to possibly invest in, in the future.
Well.....that will probably change if you want to game on a PC in the future. Especially since the OS hasn't been updated in almost 2 years.
It doesn't require 16GB RAM or 4GB VRAM.This:

Even in much higher resolution with some enabled FX on PC and better textures this game is not even looking that good to require 16 GB RAM and 4 GB VRAM, not to mention 60 GB HDD space. It's just redicilous.
Except it's not an early gen 360 game. It's a 2015 game on a technical level.Pretty high for an early gen 360 game.
It would be a stupid thing to say if there wasn't already a PC version of the 360 game. Since there is, it's an exceedingly stupid thing to say.Except it's not an early gen 360 game. It's a 2015 game on a technical level.
Pretty high for an early gen 360 game.
Uh, what? this seems a little high. This game should not be demanding.
And why is that ?
Well as long as the software I use and need continues to work I couldn't give a shit.
You don't have to upgrade to Windows 10 if you don't want to and don't see a reason to.
16GB of RAM? Gotta be a joke.
Except it's not an early gen 360 game. It's a 2015 game on a technical level.
I dunno, I'm no techie genius. These requirements just stands out for a game that doesn't look that graphically impressive.
Get out with that 16 GB "reccomended"
and also get out with that 60 GB of storage required, that's the same size as GTA V.
Even with higher graphics settings the game won't be looking that good, I'm just sure of it. These requirements is more or less acceptable for Gears 4 (if the game will even come out on PC) cuz it looks a lot better than GOWUE on XONE.As if a higher framerate and higher graphical settings are not responsible for said recommendation?.
Oh, but it is, for 1080p at least. But that of course if these requirements is official and not just a rumor. It doesn't require 16GB RAM or 4GB VRAM.
It's 45 gigs in xbox one. I'm sure the extra 15 gigs are better quality texture assets. You don't want those?Get out with that 16 GB "reccomended"
and also get out with that 60 GB of storage required, that's the same size as GTA V.

8GB for minimum is too much? That should be the standard...Dat RAM requirements for both Minimum and Recommended.
Yikes.
Why is PC gaf being completely embarassing in this thread?
Man the salt in these threads because years back everyone bought PCs with 8GB RAM is unbearable. Just get another stick and be done with it jesus.
So much for DX12 improving efficiency.
Yep.
Those were some funny days. "2GB of VRAM will never be needed for 1080p" and "8GB of RAM is mire than enough".
The reality is everyone needed to be getting 3/4 GB videocards and 16GB ram if they wanted their shit to last.
Dat RAM requirements for both Minimum and Recommended.
Yikes.
How did this look on X1? I always thought it was a full on remake but apparently it's more of a remaster with enhanced textures / lightning? Is that true?
Is this crossbuy?
I bought the X1 version when it came out but couldn't stand the 30fps
ITT: People don't know the difference between "required" and "recommended."
8GB minimum is excessive? I'm not a PC gamer, but my laptop has that. That's pretty much the standard in 2016.
