Best Buy's page says they're waiting for authorization on my card, but the order is still "Processing." Should I keep the order as it or try to confirm the shipping address and shake it up like others are doing?

Looks like I'll just buy a copy of Conquest and this will just remain a sealed collectors item for my collection at this point.
Where do I do that? I don't want to risk screwing something up

When the item gets shipped and you are charged, go to Your Account > Your Orders, find the order, and click "Invoice" under the Order Number.
Look for a line in the Invoice that says "Prime Savings", it will look like this:
If you don't see that line, contact a rep to get your discount applied properly. Sometimes it doesn't show up in the total on the Your Orders page for whatever reason, even though the discount is properly applied when the item is charged to your account and shipped.

Well, did the shipping switch and got a date of this tuesday for the order. I don't mind waiting the weekend for a discounted version of all 3 games but seriously this is pretty butts. Still gonna give them a call in the morning to see what's truly up.

Depends. Amazon lately has been like that. So, if you chose free two day shipping, that means they will ship it sometime on the 19th and you will have it early next week.

In my case (PR), Prime is free standard shipping so it can sit on preparing for shipment...for days. XD
I've had Prime for two years now and prime shipping for games has never slipped past the release date for me. It's usually free two day shipping for other items, but game, book or movie pre-orders always get to me on release.
Even on this order it still says it will be delivered on February 19th before 8 PM. Which seems unlikely now I guess.

I just got up and I would ask what is going on but it seems clear to me that nobody has a clue, especially Best Buy. Very disappointed!
Hopefully it does at least as much as Awakening did. That story didn't dramatically change based on your character's gender, but the possibility of
being Lucina's mother in one playthrough if you marry Chrom while the two of you can be unrelated in another playthrough
Anyways, wound up getting a pre-order of the SE on Amazon before they took it down. If they cancel I think I'll just go back on my original plan of getting Birthright.

I just woke up to the delay e-mail from Best Buy too. I "changed" my shipping address and I now have the delivery date of the 23rd like everybody else who did the same. This is really disappointing. I guess I should have learned after the Amiibo craze that unless it's actually in my hands no pre-order is safe when buying online.

First time preordering from Bestbuy, likely the last. Cancelling my Twilight Princess HD order.
Just woke up and say the Best Buy/ebay mess, goddamn. Shit like that is why I never ever use Best Buy for anything unless I have absolutely zero choice, I've gotten fucked with online pre-orders, in-store pickups, you name it. GCU is no longer a reason to recommend them at this point, especially if you have Prime and are getting games mostly on release. Condolences to everyone getting screwed, I'd be really upset in your shoes

Waited till today to place an order on Amazon for Birthright. It's on back order, but at least I'm locked into the discounted Prime price. I don't mind waiting since I'm still finishing Paper Jam.

My BB preorder was delayed until March. Thankfully my Amazon order will be here by today. I knew BB would do something wrong since I've had trouble with them before but at least it's a delay.

Honestly? No. I'm considering just cancelling it. I don't trust them now. This weekend is the most time I'm going to have to play it and won't likely get through both Birthright and Conquest before Revelations is on the eShop anyway. Plus I'd rather have the digital version.

Well, I just epicly screwed up. I changed the shipping speed on my order, but I also needed to change the payment method on my order. I figured I'd get that e-mail that says "we couldn't process your payment method, please update it". Instead, I get an e-mail that says "We couldn't process the payment method of your order, so we cancelled it. Sorry for the inconvenience."

My god this is a clusterfuck. I checked my email, and got a third email saying my order can be picked up today. The constant reassurance that my order is ready is less than reassuring. I guess that every time they send out a new wave they update every order? If I go in and they only have the 3ds, I'll be pissed.

I have to say, despite sweet discounts from places like Best Buy and Amazon, situations like this is why I always go to my local GameStop and pre-order any of my high priority titles in-store. They've never let me down yet.
It's absolutely coming out today. Mine's arriving from Amazon. It's possible Best Buy messed up or didn't get their full shipment from Nintendo, which is what's causing the issues here.
Amen. This is the first game I've bought at EB in over a year. I'm totally Amazon, but reading all this I'm glad I chose EB (well, it chose me, was the only place I could grab an SE)

Kinda? I don't get angry often but when I do, I don't control it well. If I had called immediately, that probably would have happened.
I can wait until Tuesday to get the game (as much as I don't want to) but if I had to wait a month for this, I would be so worried that it would just end up being cancelled that I would go nuts.

Yeah, agreed. A month delay is a little ridiculous. The least they could do is offer something other than 'sorry for the inconvenience!' If there aren't more copies being made, a month delay probably isn't gonna solve anything.
