Oh man, am I glad I already got my shipping notice. If those of you who are getting the delayed until 3/14 email actually get yours cancelled, and if it happens to be because they sold them on ebay, they this fuck-up would rival the Ni No Kuni fuck-up. I wish you all the best of luck.

Just got the e-mail and man, that's one helluva delay. Glad I wasn't set on playing it immediately. My sympathies to all who were eagerly anticipating playing it tomorrow.

Sent Bestbuy and email and I will call them tomorrow. I wasn't planning on playing right away but I just want to make sure I get my special edition. Especially since they've had my money since November.

As long as it's only a delay and not actually a delayed cancellation. I'm okay with waiting along as I get it, and there will probably be some sort of reimbursement.

Yeah. At the moment I'd suggest to wait until business hours so stores and corporate offices open and possibly sort out this mess.
The emails going out on the eve of the 19th (and past the 19th already in some timezones) could indicate it was a mess.
Though, maybe there was a delay in shipment and the email was intended for that; but not as far as March 14.

This by itself wouldn't surprise me, and if it were the case I wouldn't really even be all that disappointed or concerned as long as I knew I was going to get what I ordered. But when you combine it with the Ebay thing it's just baffling.
But doesn't best buy have the same deal with both physical versions right now?

gimme a break. i choose "ship to home" on best buy's own site, the order gets a major delay. i choose "in-store pickup" on ebay, and my order gets cancelled.

Doesnt matter. They can cancel at any moment. Happened with the $15 GC glitch with a lot of people.

Ah, yeah, I understand. I'm the opposite though. I would rather not deal with BB shipping (although, I do hate my local BB. The other two that are a bit farther out than that store are awesome however), so I always do in-store pickup for limited items like this than worry about item damage and whatnot.

My guess is that many eBay-BB in store pickup orders won't get cancelled until the morning once stores open and they realize they got 0 copies of it lol
Dunno, first time ordering BB. I was charged, got a tracking number and it is slated to arrive on time tomorrow. It could also be a huge coincidence so I would say take it on a grain of salt if anything.
