I suggest going southwest of the

Devs also posted a manual on their site:

You can also click-drag to have Flux follow where your mouse/finger is on the screen!

Still, it's a really great game. Feels like Don't Starve, but with fun where the self-inflicted torture used to be.
I was having fun with it on my iPhone 6+, but gave up on the weird touch controls and bought it on Steam. Much better.

The story behind the game is quite inspiring

Before I go and buy the PC version as well is there controller support?
I dont think there is, which is the main reason stopping me from buying it. Would of been nice to have gamepad support on android (shield tv) too.
Out of curiosity, how does the cross platform saving work in this game? Do I make a sort of "Crashlands Account"? Is it a Steam thing (can Steam even do that on iOS)?
You make an account in the game and it gives you 3 save files to sync across all platforms.
Question about the Android version.
Does this have any requirement for an Internet connection bullshit? So the game won't launch if you don't have an Internet connection on your phone? (Ie Plane/Train/etc)
It's 3am. I need to sleep... What is this game doing to me?
I can't believe GAF is sleeping on this game. Everyone buy it, it's amazing.
I hope it gets a release on the PS4 and Xbone at some point in the future. More people need to play this.

The games on PC too, so even if the "mobile game prejudice" existed (which I only see against games that exploit IAPs, not premium ones like this) I don't think that's the main reason why it's not getting a 50 page thread after a week. This game didn't really get much pre-release buzz, except for occasionally posts I'd see on the iOS gaming community thread, and I'm personally so busy finishing all the stuff I got over the holidays to think about getting another game to throw on my pile, even if it is as good as Crashlands. (plus I've almost got $5 on my Google Rewards app so I can get it for free soon!).GAF will eventually catch up to it once it gets some attention on an YouTuber's channel or shows up on consoles.
People around these parts still have way too much prejudice towards mobile gaming.

You don't like open world action RPGs? Cause I'm betting Crashlands is not what you think it is.It's not a prejudice against mobile gaming for me, but more against the genre which I typically don't enjoy. I am very curious though and enjoy reading impressions here until I see something that sends me over the edge...

I just bought it.....
Let's see what it's all about....
Edit: I downloaded it to my iPad, I was going to download it on my iPod is well. Can I upload my save to the cloud and play on both?
One thing I find really refreshing is, there is no daily login bonus bullshit that you get with too many mobile games, however, one thing that does slightly worry me is the crafting timer, what purpose does this serve, they are normally there to facilitate the use of microtransactions to speed things up.

So I've finally come to the boss in the labyrinth and I'm constantly dieing within a minute. To those who beat him, what weapons and armor did you have?
Thanks, grinded for fish scale armor and was finally tough enough to kill him. Onto the next boss!I had the same problem. Strongly recommend grinding or doing some additional quests if you're having that problem. I had all the fish scale armor and swords and finally beat him
I'm at the third continent now. Still loving the game, but my impressions have diminished a bit.
The first 5 hours of the game are sublime. New discoveries around every corner.
Unfortunately, going through the second continent, the pattern becomes quite obvious and the lack of depth hurts the game a bit. The crafting system is never used to its full advantage. The most disappointing thing is farming for an hour for a legendary weapon, only to have it outclassed in 30 minutes once you reach the next crafting tier.
I'm at nearly 20 hours now. This is quite a long game. To be fair, this is my breaking point for most games. It's hard to hold my interest past 15-20 hours.
Couple questions:
- If I usually find crafting systems annoying, would I like this game?
- I'm thinking about getting this game specifically for my (Android, 5.5") phone. Would I be way better off getting it for my (10") iPad?

The best thing for me is the fact that I don't have to micro manage my inventory. No limitations, not weights, fantastic.
How is the Android version? Can I expect this to run well on my OnePlus One?
