Maybe, but you're not selling your game with animated screenshots!

There's basically no personality at all. The fish you're trying to collect are palette-swaps! It makes the whole thing look a bit cheap and it makes it really easy to overlook when browsing the App Store. The icon is kind of messy as well, being incredibly inconsistent with what has outlines and what doesn't. No matter how good the gameplay is, the presentation is not reflecting that in any way and the presentation in a way is more important because without getting people to download it, they're never going to get to the gameplay.

You only get one chance to make a first impression, as they say.

That was my one main criticism coming towards the project getting released, in which we have very little in the way of marketing the game in both presentation and just getting the word out there. As much as I like how the game turned out, I kinda knew it wasn't gonna sell much going out the door.

I don't have any videos on me, unfortunately. Anyways, all that said, this was all basically a student project, so it is not too bad if it's not popular. I just want the people who do play it to enjoy it. =)

Lifeline is really worth it. It's well written and features an original mechanic (the passing of time) and you'll be able to have quite an impact on the story. I thought it was brilliant personally.

I'm really looking forward to the Adult Swim Pokemon game out tonight - I've never watched the associated programme, but Adult Swim put out really great games.

To be fair, One Button Travel has the passing of time element too, but Lifeline is a better story.

I'm a huge fan of the show and I'll download it as well but the review was a bit of a downer. Especially because the pre-release buzz was very positive before.

I saw on your twitter account that you've been using iOS 9.3, how is the Night Shift mode? It's been so long that this hasn't been incorporated (without jailbreaking to use f.lux).

I tried using it but I don't really like messing with the color of the iPad. I've never been a fan of f.lux as well so I get the feeling this option isn't really for me.

But it's there and you can tweak the color quite extensively. And you can do it at a certain time (night) or turn it on regardless of the time.

Raptisoft is more or less a one man show. I usually contract the music, and I occasionally contract some work on the side, but really, it's more or less one guy, making games.

It came out on PS4 last night so that may be where the mix up is.

And, yes, as killercow mentioned, it's getting pretty horrible reviews so probably a pass for me.

Still waiting for Venture Kid to hit the store. FDG says it's still on schedule and should pop up sometime between now and midnight.

So what's with who is running the Clash Royale clan? It was almost or full and the everyone was booted except for 4, could you at least say why or give a reason for what you are expecting for members, pretty crappy to do so with no post or message.

I also posted screens of the IAP on Twitter but I can't embed them atm but they're there if you wanna check before buying.

Touch controls are really good on iPhone, hopefully it has a decent layout on iPad where most of these platformers are often lacking.

So far I heartily recommend the game.

Are there two NeoGAF clans? Almost nobody joined mine except for a few randoms, and so I moved it to invite only to cut down on that. But we were never anywhere NEAR full, and I've never kicked anyone out. We're at 7 people now.

Just to be clear, mine is titled "NeoGAF" and the clan tag is #20Y9PQ (or maybe #2OY9PQ?). And you don't need to send a PM - just include your user name here in your join request.
