This is my Best Buy preorder for Trails of Cold Steel. Last updated on the 21st. It's starting to get silly.

Wait, is the OG Vita some sort of time bomb!?

OLED screens degrade faster than LCD screens with use but unless the Vita is your only console, you use it 5 hours daily, and plan to continue to do so for years to come, I wouldn't really worry about it. Chances are you will have replaced the battery, a few buttons and both analogue sticks before you notice the decreased screen brightness. Or just stopped using the console.

Ohhh ok. I'm not that worried then; I like my Vita, but it's faaaar from being my "main" console.

I suppose I could buy a screen and replace it it dies one day.

Another day of no Trails of Cold Steel. I could order another copy and it'd probably get here faster. If I'd bought it from Amazon, they'd probably send it again to me no questions asked if they'd shipped it on the 21st. But nooo, Bestbuy is all, please wait! Then we'll know if you can get a refund.

What BS.

Same with me. I called yesterday to just start the investigation.

I'm beginning to wonder if somebody just up and did a dummy shipment printout at Bestbuy thinking they'd ship it later but in reality they never shipped anything.

If this was just happening to me, I'd think it's Canada Post. But when other Trails of Cold Steel games are held up? Something's suspect.

My Trails of Cold Steel Best Buy order is still "in transit" as well.

Also, a bunch of my Boxing Day games arrived. I spent much more this year than I should have, but I got a bunch of great games and Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival for some great prices.

Any deals on a good wireless headset for ps4? I don't want the garbage golds, I want a good headset that's wireless. Brand doesn't matter. Budget us 200. Working with pc would be a plus too.

Thnx

Anyone have one of those $5 eShop vouchers given during that Digital Deluxe eShop promo on Wii U? If they haven't expired, I'll trade an XBO code of the FF15 demo for one.

I want to get MH3U and MH4U on the eShop but I'm just a tad short.

Those codes expired June 30th.

Having the same problem. Had to call Best buy today but didn't get a straight anwser about what's going on thought apparently they are starting the process of applying a refund....

Really hope I dont' have to reorder it since it'll be like pulling teeth to get them to apply the 30% discount to it that I had

Used the golds almost daily for 2 years. What's wrong with them?

Most comfy headphones I've ever owned.
they're incredible until they crap out. battery life turned nonexistent and then the wireless just stopped working on mine. plus countless tales of them physically breaking. it's a shame because otherwise they're pretty much perfect.

I think yall are probably overreacting a bit regarding ToCS. Canada Post is shit during the holidays, everyone knows this. It sucks but we'll get our copies when things settle down. The fact that so many of us are still waiting just shows that it's not really anything to be concerned about.

If you haven't played SOMA yet, buy it now on sale. You won't regret it. Probably my game of the year!

Was very tempted, but was thinking more in the $10-$15 range or maybe it'll come on PS+ in the next year. In terms of horror, I loved Outlast. Enjoyed Amnesia, but it was a bit too puzzle-centric and thought the story was lame.

Even takign the holidays into account the amount of time this is taking is complete bs considering it's an expdited package.

My credit card was charged on the 18th and Canada post had it in their hands in the next town over by the 21 so it's just been sitting there for no good reason.

Sorry to hear that. I understand. I used to use an android phone that was said to be the best, mine had nothing but problems, garbage warranty support (ie send it in, get it back unfixed), and forums filled with the same experiences. Otherwise a great device. Never again.

Quality control on the same products vary so much these days.

Per the original question re: headsets, I bought a friend a senheisser gaming headset last year (around $100) and he LOVES it. Serious PC gamer.

Wired though.

I actually received my Trails of Cold Steel LE last night. I checked the tracking and it said it was "delivered" so I checked my mailbox and it was there. Thankfully, this LE has a much sturdier box, so it arrived without damage [despite being in a bubble envelope].

I'm still waiting on a few shipments from Japan, though. They were supposed to be delivered today [estimated delivery] but they never came. :/

Sorry to see that some of you are still waiting for Cold Steel. In a surprise turn of events, I got mine on release day from Amazon.

Speaking of Amazon, I got my WiiU Pro controller today. It's pretty nice, and I find the shoulder buttons more comfortable that the X1 controller. It's definitely better than the normal controller for the WiiU, though I'll still use that for XCX since I need to use it anyways for the map. But I'll definitely be using this for any other games that don't need it. Only complaint I have is that there's no headphone jack.

Will Best Buy take any online order back in-store so long as you get a return number from online customer service? Or only stuff they sell in-store?

I've returned stuff that was sold online-only in-store. I just print the online receipt and bring it in like normal.

You can return online stuff to the store, it shouldn't be a problem

I did it. I retired my Vita OG and picked up the EB Games exclusive Vita Slim. Ended up costing me $40 after trading in some PS4 games - if you guys didn't notice you get a 30% bump on all trade-in values if you buy something advertised in the flyer.

All I can say is - DAT AQUA BLUE. So worth it.

I myself am tempted to pick up the Vita 2000, but I don't really feel the need to upgrade currently, and $170 is a bit high for a backup, so I'll hold off for now. Will definitely buy one eventually, though.

Welcome to the club. I did the same!

BTW does anyone know if there's a place in Vancouver that gives cash for old games like PS2 etc? Stuff no one would buy.
