No idea. I had some issues and still do with my pre-order and missing 7th armor, XBL support gave me a code for Halo 5 Digital Deluxe edition as compensation, which i realized too late because i redeemed it via the auto redeem link.

So TL;DR they might give you at $84.99 or whatever bundle free, cause reasons. But hey, they made me a happy customer at least. Screw that weapon skin, i got Req packs ya'll!


On another note im starting to git gud in this game.
Started off as 1.1 KD and after todays matches 1.9 KD.

I hope it keeps going this way.

They gave you the game digitally for free bc you haven't received the armor for playing it before the 7th? what?!?!? I haven't received it yet either.

Xbox support is hilarious, and I used to work for them too. Not the best job in the world, but not the worst either.

They cant actually grant me the armor i think, but the support guy gave me a code to try and fix my pre-order bonus issue and the code was for Digital Deluxe edition thing lol.

I dont even care. Fuck it.

I hope i get my 7th Armor tho...
 
Is anyone else having problems with muting voice chat? I know it's a widespread problem that you hear the chat while the game is loading, but even with the setting toggled to mute them, I still hear them in game. Using "X" to mute all doesn't work either.

It's really obnoxious listening to chat in Warzone

I'm chatting with them about it now, they referred me to 343.

Not sure what to do now lol

guess i'll wait and if we dont get it then... :(

Lol good luck with 343. Not like there is 100+ topics about these exact issues with no reply.

I assume they got too many trying to contact support.

Perhaps i got really, really lucky.


The guy said they had records of us playing before the 7th so even if we dont get it its in their database.
 
Going to try to get as many ground pound kills as I can in a match of Warzone. I'm so happy it doesn't record K/D for Warzone (if it does let me be blissfully ignorant)

Same problem here. I got so damn sick of it that I just disabled public chat in system settings
 
Any chance of 343 patching in an option to not JiP a Warzone game? This is annoying.

Also, how is it that in a playlist with only 3 maps, I've only played on Apex once and Stormbreak the vast majority of the time?

No way! The needler is super strong in 5 - it tracks so well. I've gotten more kills with it in these first five days than I got in thousands of matches of previous Halos combined.

You know what would be more annoying? Being the last person on your Warzone team because everybody else quit out after two minutes.

JiP is the lesser of two evils, in my opinion.

That's not what I asked. I don't want to JiP. Let me wait a bit to start a match from the beginning. Let it be a choice.

I miss the older settinfs where you could choose what to prioritize. Like if you don't like where you're being matched up, choose to emphasize skill over speed, or if you want to wait up to 2 minutes plus to matchmake a fair match from start, prioritize that over join in progress.

And that is? Why can't I have the option to either join a match in progress or to wait until a lobby is formed like in Arena?

I'm not talking about disabling JiP for the entire match. I personally do not want to join in progress.

Surely it can't ALL be me, can it? Is it just this impossible to play with randoms?

I'd recommend trying to play with people from Gaf. Randoms can be very difficult to play with.

Because they don't want people to disable it and lengthen jip time.
