Yeah, same. I hated how is tank-top alt still had the cuffs on. Made no sense.

the funny thing about the cuffs is how they had literally no effect on his moveset or animations. those chains are long as fuck. guess it's more of a chain gang style of bondage, though.
I'm okay with the cuffs coming back if he can break out of them for the v-trigger. I don't care if it's dumb

This would be the only way I'd accept the cuffs, but having the cuffs means he's likely to be wearing the prison jumpsuit so I'd rather just not have the cuffs at all.
You guys are talking about breaking cuffs for v trigger but how does he go back to normal

If you take em off via modding some of his animation look weird because its suppoused to be if he had cuffs.

Story Mode plot leaks, Cody turns out to be an immortal ancient warrior and reveals himself to also be Q
Takes only one hand out of the cuff, gives him longer reaching punches like the knife. Once the timers over he swings the cuff back onto the other hand.
I still don't buy that theory, more so considering the amount of effort that goes into each character.
I meant that it's weird he's wearing normal clothes but is in handcuffs.

that's why I want it to be Cody, even though I'm not particularly convinced.
I thought you meant the theory of characters being swapped out. As for a projectile Criminal Upper, it's possible, but I'm not sure.

V-Trigger could allow him to cause the projectiles from his own attacks, via taking his cuff off. He used his full power to cause the wind damages.

Juri or Viper better end up in this, but I'd settle with Gouken being the IV representative.
But peeps get arrested in street clothes more often than in prison wear.
Either Guile or Cody and I will be happy.

I do too, but I don't think it's realistic to expect both.
But Birdie wasn't in IV. All the Alpha characters that weren't in IV except for the 2 dolls make sense to me.
