I'd say it was possibly down to geographical fuckery. As a sad Canadian paying close attention to the people posting about getting in, it was pretty clear that those in California had much less trouble getting in than elsewhere.

Also the sheer salt buildup of looking at errors for 3 days straight does something to a man. Doesn't surprise me that some people broke inside.

Maintenance all day today, will probably be back up in a day or two. Sounds like Capcom isn't counting the past three days as part of the five full days of beta access they promised.

Nah what's most likely is that they found the perfect settings (which was 12am to 1am yesterday, where everyone was getting in and not just whitelist) and now they're going to do that for everyone.

Of course there is no whitelist. I got to play for 2 hours solid yesterday playing around 10 games and getting a bunch of training in. EU too so no special treatment. It's first come first serve simple as. If there was a whitelist then every top player would be getting in no problem, look at poor infiltration he struggled to get on. Another thing pissing me off about this thread is people that think this is a demo. It's not. Get it through your heads, this is a beta, a proper beta to test out the network capabilities of the game. Wait until they are a bit more stable, you will get your 5 days of time with it. I for one would much rather them be aware of problems and work on fixes and capabilities and have a smooth phase 2,3 and launch.

I wasn't calling you out, I wasn't streaming for a ton of hours trying every second to get in, I tried at different times and got in or didn't (and stopped after like 30 minutes of trying). It makes sense that you got in for longer periods of time than most people did. I did notice this: if the servers didn't reset, I was able to quit one time (accidental) and I was able to login immediately thereafter. It kept my stats (total exp 1900 and exp 950), but if the servers reset, it would go back to 0 and 0 (I would also not be able to login most the time after they reset, unless I lucked out?).

Clearly their current capacity isn't enough.

I can't help you with the quotes, but I wanna thank you for doing this. I love seeing the different things characters say to each other in greeting and winning. Its one of my favorite parts of MKX and I kinda wish Capcom gave unique greetings to different fights, but whatever. The end stuff is fine, although I thought Chun-Li/ Nash ones to each other were kinda lacking.
