Just played a Ryu who was teleporting all over the screen. Annoying :/

Yeah, think that's how it odes lag rather than slowing down the game like 4 did. Didn't happen much in my last match, but Chun Li had one or two moments.

Also salty that the Chun Li I played has already levelled up. I can't even send matches to the server.

Annnnd I was just booted. to dash

UK here. Managed to get in after many attempts and played one match as Ryu. Started out well but the match eventually descended into lag hell. Then back in training I got the 10002 error and now I'm back to the damn title screen again.

And then it crashes!! Nash is way more difficult to use than I thought. Of course everyone is picking Ryu. Not that I'm complaining. This is so good.

Yup seems like everyone just got booted. It was fun though and I'm glad I finally got some extended time to mess around with it.

My corneas were fucking starved to just see the training room again.

The game looks great...except the weird dithering kind of things on the textures? I don't know what it's called... I have noticed the in the screenshots and I noticed them when I played the game.

Loving this game right now. After playing shotos for years I really like the new Chun and I'm gonna stick with her
until Cammy shows up :D

Just had my first SFV disconnect. And it was because of me because I lost connection to the server again, fuck yeah. I was up a round and the 2nd had just begun anyways so I think it should be obvious to my opponent I didn't rage quit lol. Oh well, I'm pretty sure I played at least over 30 matches tonight with probably a 70-75% win rate. I also found some cool stuff when I was looking for set ups. I'm feeling pretty good about myself. Time to get some shut eye now finally.

some are getting in, ive been trying for an hour and a half and just get error codes

...while I did manage to get in, but only briefly. Others have been reporting they actually managed to play matches though (all on EU PSN accounts/codes). In other words: nobody fully knows what's happening.

6-5 with Chun. Nearly all the matches I lost were to Nash. Need to learn him more and I keep getting caught by the second swing in his EX rugal kick. Grrrr

My connection was fucking rad and pretty much lagless. I can see them hopefully working all this out by tomorrow.

Kept trying to play Nash like Guile and that didn't work hah. But man is he fun.

I think the thing that's going to take the most getting used to for me is that the normals don't change when you're close to the opponent. I think I might end up liking this better in the long run, but for now it's just weird.

Everyone got disconnected I believe. Probably wasn't you this time.

Two matches against Nash - 2-0 wins, and a round 3 pixel loss to a Bison!

All in all a fun night. Kudos to those that played more, but very glad we were able to play at all. I was beginning to lose hope! xD

Fuck, maybe I should've stayed up a bit longer to get some games in. Just woke up thinking I could actually play lol.

Hopefully everything is up and running smoothly tomorrow by time I wake up. I still need to take Chun-Li online.

Nash will still be my main character at the moment.

Got about 10 or 11 matches in before getting disconnected. The game plays and looks like a dream. The netcode is phenomenal. Some matches had no business being as smooth as they were. I tried to split my time between Ryu and Nash. Nash is gonna take some time to properly figure out, because he seems to be a pretty complicated character. He's amazingly fun, though. He's got some pretty insane shenanigans and set-ups from what I can tell. He's also got some insanely high damage critical art setups. Ryu feels really fresh thanks to his parry. It's active longer than a 3S parry, and it's not as easy to punish parried attacks (fast attacks anyway), but it goes along way towards making me want to pick Ryu up again. I got a lot of mileage out of stuff like cr.mk xx lk tatsu xx ex-DP or super and f.hp xx st.mp xx dp.

If / when I get back in later I want to focus a lot more on learning the new links. That 3F input buffer is a godsend so far. Execution on some of the tighter-feeling links already feels much more forgiving, and that's without even double-tapping.

SF5 is shaping up to be really special. I'm overjoyed. Specific gameplay stuff aside, the art style, the lighting, the visual effects, and especially the really bassy meat-y sounding effects, the game speed, and the renewed focus on aggression is giving me the warm fuzzies.

Had anyone been able to play any matches before this little patch this morning? This was my first time getting in and actually playing against a human opponent.

I got in for 2 matches before it but it worked way better in the last hour when I got in again.
