Why would training be behind a net connection? Titanfall did that and it pissed me off. Its an offline mode. Let me use it offline.

The stick works on PS3 as well. Yes USFIV on PS4 is fixed. You can play Guilty Gear. It's a good game on PS4. I think Guilty Gear Xrd had a demo on the ps4 that was for a limited time and it was offline vs mode and then after the time expired I couldn't fire the demo up anymore.
I think the reasoning for the training mode being online is because they are testing the online.

This was never meant to be so people could train offline. That was not the point of this.
The training room is the staging area while you are being matched up with players.

I expect what they told me to expect, which is to pre order, download a game, go into training and test out net play.
That was the expectations set. Stress testing is part of alpha phases and near release phases. This wasn't a stress test. They fucked up. End of story

Jesus fucking Christ no it's not. This is a fucking beta for a game that's not coming out until March.
Because if the beta was working properly, you wouldnt actually have much time in there since it was simply added as some filler to do while it matched you up with someone.
Youre comparing a beta of a game that is almost a year out to a game that launched with aspects of it busted because they didn't do what capcom is doing with SFV now.

This unacceptable Capcom! I have spent the last 15 hours hitting every button on my arcade stick trying to log in. I bought a 200$ arcade stick, pre ordered on amazon, quit my job, left my wife all for this beta. Here is my list of demands to rectify this terrible customer service.
Capcom, I don't know how much you know about FGC culture, but I'm an expert. If you don't give me all of this I will forget about it in a week and still buy SFV. Thank you for your time.

Can we really blame people for having a warped idea of what a beta is when the industry as a whole has trivialized the term? A vast majority of betas are basically glorified demos at this point.

I just go with the MMO mentality of what a "beta" is. Though we have our Alpha, Closed, Open betas. So if this is considered an Alpha beta, then this isn't entirely surprising.
That's a pretty nasty attitude bro. Companies would provide as little as possible in their games if they can get away with it; and yet the people that actually buy the products don't get to ask for as much as they can get?
Plus I actually am enitled to a free PS4 if mine dies. Warranty and all that.
