Yes they work on the same servers even. If it works don't be surprised if you met people from all around the globe in matchmaking. No filters or anything like that yet.

Whenever you manage to play the beta, you should definitely start with Ryu. He has the simplest moves and learning to play him will teach you the most about the game in general. But, it's still a completely different beast from the SNES incarnations.

Testing out Ryu is usually a good way to get started.

Played the training mode for about 20 mins. Framerate isn't 100%, but it's solid enough for this stage in development. Plays well and combos are a little easier, which is a good thing to be honest. Never got to fight anyone unfortunately.

They said they wanted to test the netcode, referring to lag between players etc... People can't even get connected.

Plus, Ultra chugs like a bitch while trying to access network features sometime, like a big pause before announcing someone's challenging you or huge pauses when clicking Network Features. It might be that performance takes a hit when it thinks it might possibly connect.

Either way, it's still early like you said.

They are as long as they are PS4 sticks or modded for PS4.

It'll take longer than some hours actually haha. Definitely worth getting into it tough. Just don't get discouraged from losing.
