I think more specifically it refers to the join date on the Shoryuken forums, which used to display under your user name, now for 09ers like me it just says 'joined 6 years ago.'

I think the graph is an overtime character performance thing. Crappy defending? It'll track it and reflect it so. All out attack? It'll show. Like a representation of play style (yours) for each character, better than the ambiguous BP. That's my thought on it. Could be wrong.

They did something similar with that in Marvel vs Capcom 3 so it is possible that they're also putting it in SFV.

yeah, I've never seen that graph stuff be particularly meaningful or interesting. the means by which you're rated are often obscure or inappropriate. I'd really like to see a Top 3 type of thing, I've always liked that in Dota 2.

This is actually exactly what a beta is for. People who are seriously complaining about this besides the "Meh, I stayed up for this" are delusional. These are the kind of issues you want to iron out before release. I swear people treat betas to be some sort of exclusive early access nowdays.
