Turn 10 just sent us this super high quality 60 fps version of the gameplay footage of Forza Motorsport 6 they released a few days ago. Many thanks to them and especially Helios for this, 60 fps certainly does wonders for this game!

Contrary to what some rather unsavory people on youtube pretended, this is the first time the real 60 fps footage is available, this is not interpolated from a 30 fps video.

Hey guys, I'm super happy to report that Turn10 (via the awesome Helios) sent us some 60 fps super high quality footage of the game. Enjoy it :)

And yes, people pretended that their 60 fps footage on youtube was real, when it was just interpolated from 30 fps broll. This is the real deal :)

Thanks again for hosting Blim!

Absolutely gorgeous!

The Brands Hatch rain atmosphere is captured perfectly! Goddamn, I need this game now. Can't wait rip up the GT on Nordschleife in the rain.

That's looks really good and so damn smooth, it looks better than FM5 for sure, Is it possible for Turn 10 to make a demo of the game and release it before the launch ?

Ah!

The reason i dump my PS4 to get an X1 back lol. :) Project Cars fall out flat for me, deception there was no racer on PS4, and honestly prefer Forza to GT.

September is not far!

Totally the wrong thing to focus on, but looks like the rear view is 30fps, despite the information otherwise. Might not be final code, though.

Regardless, thanks Gamersyde & Helios!

Weather effects still a long way to go but overall, a step up above Forza 5 graphically.

Even more than the gfx just the insane amount of variations when it comes to tires and contact surfaces affecting handling is crazyyyy.

Body reflections seem to run at that rate too. But looks pretty damn good so far! They've even put in more 3D crowd models heh.

Jesus Christ almighty this looks amazing.

I'm REALLY sorry to be that guy, but the XBone is going to its third Forza game and GT for the PS4 hasn't even been announced yet, wtf are these guys doing?

Watching the reflections on the Ford GT with the colored flags above looked 60 fps.

Same with the movement speed of cars in the mirrors.

Honestly its hard to tell because of the optical perspective of some of the reflections.

Forza is on an yearly cycle for MS. GT doesn't work that way, not sure what is there to understand.

We all know it's coming it's just that Polyphony doesn't work on the same cycle as Forza which is tough for us driving game lovers.

Two studios as well, even if T10 help out on Horizon.

There's no right or wrong schedule, though. It's the game and its fulfilment over the interval between releases that are what matters.

Certainly looks better than Forza 5 did, the IQ got a major boost. I think the rain looks a bit hokey, but it probably feels great. Solid improvement.

This looks much, MUCH better than F5 (especially the landscapes) and the anti aliasing has also been much improved. These guys are magicians, hehe :D

The rain effects don't look too hot. The night racing, however, looks great. Turn 10 should be applauded for finally adding both to Forza.

This game will definitely be the technical marvel for a good few years. Having all of that go on at 1080p60 is amazing.

Holy hyperbole Batman! It doesn't look that good.

2 Forzas. Horizon shouldn't enter that comparison, because it's a different studio.

Edit: I also forgot the fact that GT6 released after Forza 5, so in reality Forza 6 is the first Forza after GT6.

It looks eerily sterile and flat, the rain effects obviously also need work. The IQ is good though.

Still, all that truckin' at 60 frames rock solid is goddamn fantastic.

Absolutely amazing, this is the game I really wish I could play this year. Thanks to Blim and also Helios for working so close with the community and for helping bringing these quality videos. You've been doing a great job!

The Rio track looks great, with the "Cristo Rei" on top of the mountain. Can't wait to see more impressions from FORZAGAF once the game is released.

Hmmm really? Maybe my eyes are just tired cos I was actually looking at the same part of the video.

Fake edit: I just fired up Quicktime and decided to play the video frame by frame, reflections of the colored flags seem to update every 2frames running at 30fps unlike everything else (buildings, etc)...weird.

I didn't say best looking, I said most impressive. No other game has 24 cars on track with night or rain at a solid 60fps on console. pCARS comes close but tears and drops a lot. For Forza's circumstance of being on the weaker console and having 24 cars on track, it's insanely impressive that it keeps a locked 60 at 1080p.

Looking good!
I see the raindrops move up the windscreen now compared to Horizon.
I remember someone hoping that would be in.

Biennial means every other year. So Doffen is right.

It wasn't meant as a correction but to reassert what he said.

Maybe it's just a compromise?

Could just be because they are still working on it.

This game is going to look insane on an HDTV

I bet you a lot more impressive in person. Looks amazing on my Note 3.
