No doubt. Trying to watch all the direct feed stuff I can get my hands on.Well, from what I've heard the game is a nice graphical improvement over Forza Motorsport 5.

And with Forza Rewards goodies that means I'll be putting in some quality time on Forza 5 and Horizon 2 before Forza 6 drops - to reacclimate myself to the driving model and put some extra points on the board for those Forza 6 rewards.
It's a shame the Forza 5 car pass isn't on sale.
I got my Xbone way too close to the release of Forza 6 to justify paying $40 for that.
Its a really smart program. The more it sinks its hooks in you the first time, the more it sinks its hooks into you the next. Am Tier 6 now which is good enough for the stuff I've seen on the rewards page that I really wanted, but Tier 7 isn't so far away. Might as well top it off, right? ;pSeems like everyone is trying to get that done before Forza 6 hits.
I think it was on sale about a month ago.

I keep watching the Forza 6 trailer, it keeps getting better, every time.
Well, from what I've heard the game is a nice graphical improvement over Forza Motorsport 5. The problem is that Forza continues to improve image quality up until launch... so we really don't know how it will look when it finally comes out.
Remember that after Forza 5's E3 they even increased the car count from 12 to 16 before release.
That definitely was the case , but from what I remember the graphics were definitely dwngraded from what was shown at e3 and then the final product
Crowds were downgraded, but course details were upgraded. That definitely was the case , but from what I remember the graphics were definitely dwngraded from what was shown at e3 and then the final product

E3 2013 demo situation is very clear now. They rushed to show it at E3. There was only one car on track, lot of pop-in on mirrors, pop-in on scenario, lighting was different, 3d crowd. That definitely was the case , but from what I remember the graphics were definitely dwngraded from what was shown at e3 and then the final product
I swear I keep refreshing this thread every 5 minutes in hopes of new game play or content.
I can't fucking wait.
Anyone know if there are any substantial updates to the community / livery aspect of things? I haven't read or heard anything.
it's Beautiful!!
Yep same here. Haven't been this excited about a racing game since Gran Turismo 3 for PS2.
The last part gave me the chills the first time I saw it.
Known quantities aren't sexy, even if they're quality.According to the racing game guy from GT Trailers, we shouldn't be excited because Forza is made on a bi-annual cycle and we already knew it was coming....
What kind of crap is that?

I'd take the Forza iteration cycle over waiting years and years for a single attempt at a magnum opus with every generation. It works, its just less dramatic.
I'm not excited for Zelda because I knew they'll be another Zelda.
I'm not excited for Uncharted 4 because I knew it'd be done.
Gears 4? Knew that aswell.
Shenmue 3? Well Yu Suzuki had to find a way eventually, so who cares.
Final Fantasy 7? Well people moaned enough, so I knew it would come. Not exciting at all.
The Last Guardian? Why should I be excited? They said they are working on it for years anyway.
-goes back to discussing politics in the Philippines-
I agree, and I'm personally excited for Forza 6, mostly because its more Forza. Just trying to explain the view of the press as I interpret it. More of a good thing isn't as sexy news as truly disruptive new features or something completely out of left field.Just because you know something is coming doesn't mean you can't be excited for it. Honestly it isn't a completely known quantity. There will be brand new tracks, new cars, upgraded physics, weather, night racing and more.
I'm like 90% sure he's joking.Must be a pretty dull life to only let unexpected things excite you.
I knew Fallout 4 was coming but I'm still as excited as a fat kid in a candy store over it.

Forza 6?! OMG! I got 11,654 Reward points so far! I'll be happy to get to 14,500!
Super Mario Maker?! Just gimme that shit through a straw!
I'm super excited for Shenmue 3, even if I have my doubts. The first 2 did a lot to change my 7-9 year old self and inspired me more than any other game!
I hate you so much for the 11,654 reward points.
LOL sorry...
I hate you so much for the 11,654 reward points.
Just think of it this way. He ain't getting to tier 8 either.
Saw that FM6 has a toggle for rewind and read here that is could be toggled in FM5 but damned if O can find it.
Its a toggle in FH2 but I believe it is locked in 5
Also Dan describes the puddles as way more complex than turning it into low traction events. They have their own studied and valued physics that react much like real.puddles including the possibility of dipping one tire in on a turn to aid in pivoting around corner due to resistance.
Crazy stuff
Haha, I was playing Horizon the other day and trying to get 300 cars in my garage and I got a notice that Zorbs was also playing. Seems like everyone is trying to get that done before Forza 6 hits.
It is going to take a while though, I can only do about 50 at most before I get too bored to go on.
I went back to Forza 3 and realised I only had ~130 cars in garage, so I'm in the process of buying 170 Chrysler Eagle Talon's(5,000cr)...lol. The process is a lot quicker in the older games at least.
Holy shit though, the car handling in Forza 3 is worse than I remember...they've come a long way in that regard for sure.
The best thing about the Forza series? It's fucking rock solid. Bullet proof 60 fps. Zero bugs. Can't fucking wait for a consistent racing experience.
:/
so I'm in the process of buying 170 Chrysler Eagle Talon's
Plenty of experiences like it to be had on a variety of games on the PC in terms of framerate and stability.

Xbox section on IGN (and gaming sites in general) having been losing attention every year. That`s what happens.
lol.. 3 runners'up as multi-platform. The two best games on PS4 wasn't playable, and of course they are exclusives.
Only 3 games on WiiU?
edit: dIdn't saw any Turn10 tweet about awards either. Looks like all journos ignored the XB1 this year?
It's a racing game that just looks like another forza to many people and a game like cuphead did look great. They flew by forza in the presentation too.

Yep, they only gave it a few minutes to make sure we could get 10 minutes of Tomb Raider: Press Forward and QTE Edition during the conference.
Baffling.
It's not like they brought down an entire fucking car(half a million dollar prototype) down from the ceiling or anything... or had one of the Ford family on stage.

I'm so glad I don't buy many cars, I only have a small amount of money coming my way, and that's how I want it. Getting money in FM5 was way to easy.
That being said, I have no idea what Forza's sales numbers have been in the past, I don't pay much attention to them, I'm sure they're outstanding.
Haha and we should get excited about that because...? As nice as the new Ford GT is, last time I checked it doesn't come with the game. We also knew about that partnership from when the game was announced so all in all stunts like that are going to leave people pretty unmoved at this stage. And what exactly does the Ford guy being on stage add to anything? It's a games conference, not the Geneva motorshow.
My point is, they didn't show/talk about the game as much as they should. All they had was a trailer. It would have been nice to see some sort of gameplay demonstration, especially on the new stuff like the puddles and how night racing affects things. How about the new things they are doing with the career mode? Or any other new additions/features etc? That would have impressed people a lot more and built some excitement rather than the current reaction of "oh there's another Forza game, right on schedule".
Cut the fluff, cut the bullshit marketing that only benefits Ford and just show us the fucking game.
