I wonder how many glitches we'll be seeing in the next raid.
As an outsider looking in on this whole Destiny thing (and as someone who's been thinking of buying a copy of the game for a while) It really does look like they're treating each expansion exactly like how WoW treats it's big patches, except they aren't getting people to pay $10-$15 a month while waiting for it to drop. Instead, everyone pays for the "patch" at one time. New dungeons with new loot and enemies, a little new story, (hopefully) new areas, and a whole new grind progression to get ready to kill the "Big Bad of the Patch". Have they done any major talent changes or rebalances?
This. Bought the season pass and was one of my biggest gaming regrets. Going to blow through the content and sell the game.
Destiny 'expansions' have an embarrassing amount of content compared to its actual MMO big brothers like FFXIV and WoW, just for your information. It's kind of unfair to Destiny to compare its DLC to substantive patch content.
Spoiler: it's a CG trailer.
What's the over/under on Marcel being top poster in (yet another) Destiny thread?
I'm pretty sure those people in 19 OTs got me beat but your cute little efforts at zingers are always welcome.
Do you REALLY want me to go into the "top posters" lists on Destiny gaming side threads and take the screencaps, Marcel.
Because it seems like you're daring me.

Here's how much I care about what you choose to do:
Oh, it just reminds me of big patches have cinematics that try and show story, like the Siege of Orgrimmar patch for WoW. While it only added one new dungeon, it did add a ton of bosses, gear, and a fun location that was totally worth it. I don't mean anything sinister by itAnd I mean it when I say I'm thinking about buying a copy, I just need to figure out if I should wait for an edition that's released with all the DLC included.

Edit: VVV I feel like a child who's wandered into a movie VVV
So, approximately "a lot less then I care about making sure I do my 20+ post 'your costs are truly sunk' + 'you're a brainwashed sheeple' song and dance in every Destiny thread" routine?
We know you have a schtick. It's somewhat embarrassing that, even post-ban, you refuse to at least acknowledge it.
I never understand why "Super Awesome Powerful Warriors" always sit on their ass and let a bunch of level 1's deal with the largest threats in the Galaxy.
I wonder what the new currencies will be! *cries*
Eh, I'm probably in the minority but I'm still having fun playing Destiny. I started late though (Christmas). I'm looking forward to a new raid at least.

That's pretty much how I feel, too.It does share a lot in common with MMOs. But imagine an MMO with 4 zones and 20 quests, 5 group dungeons and 1 raid. If you include the first expansion, add 4 quests, 1 dungeon, and 1 raid to that. Destiny has always been really thin on content, and instead relies on a gear grind to give it longevity.
Don't get me wrong, the game is a lot of fun. I love the shooting mechanics and the class abilities. I just wish there was more content. Like 10 times as much.
Don't do this to yourself.Snow? Please tell me we're getting a snowy area for the raid...

Bungie...
This is such a dull trailer..., it might have cost hundreds thousands dollars and it just shows nothing.
I think I'm done with Destiny, thank you Activision
Actually, that trailer looked quite low budget... disturbingly so.
And is it just me, or is there no mention of a new Raid?
TDB: http://www.destinythegame.com/expansions/expansion-one
Says "new Raid" in there...
HoW: http://www.destinythegame.com/expansions/expansion-two
Does not say "new Raid" anywhere in there... Instead an "all-new arena activity"... Be ready for no new Raid Guardians.

I wonder if they will make the terrible mistake of upgrading store bought armor and weapons to be a tier higher then the current raids again, blowing up all those rare weapons and armors you found in the last 4 months because the NPC's sell gear a level above.
Worst mistake of the first DLC was this, the second mistake was lack of content for the price.
Wasn't the Queen pissed at em already? I remember fighting that faction of enemies at her behest with those bounties back when I still played this.
Kinda strange to hit that same note twice.
Here is my post about this topic:
let thehuntgrind begin
It will raise the question of how many actually complete raids and have all the gear, in VoG less than a half completed the raid compared to TDB and is logical to add vendor that sells slightly better armor than the older raid content at least in MMOs.
