What was your system seller for next gen?

Lego City Undercover, yep not kiddding
DKC TF
SM3DW
Mario Kart 8 / Pikmin 3
W101
ZombiU
Captain Toad

Xenoblade
Yoshi´s Wooly World
Splatoon
Zelda U
Basically 90% of Nintendo Output

TLOUR
Driveclub
Dem Graphics Promise and eveything else not coming to Wii U

I have to say that for me at this point Wii U wins, and this year the gap will only increase. But I have enjoyed my PS4 so far a lot too.

I don't have a ps4 yet but I plan on getting one later on this year, the motivating factor(s) for me are

BloodBorne
a version of Final Fantasy 14 that runs above 15 fps in raids
Final Fantasy 15
and yeah that's pretty much it though I've never had a sony home console disappoint me in breadth of library and I expect the ps4 to be the same way.

As much as I absolutely hate the idea of buying an Xbone... I have spent over $1000 on the Rock Band franchise on my 360.
-Rock Band
-Rock Band 2
-Rock Band 3
-Lego Rock Band
-Rock Band: Beatles
-ION Drum kit
-Shit Ton of DLC songs.

Currently my 360 is broken, and I've been avoiding replacing it. If I can migrate my library in an easy manner, then I'll probably buy an Xbone.

Dead Rising 3 was a double system seller for me. Bought an XB1 at launch primarily to play it, then decided to sell the system when the PC version was announced :)

Bloodborne was my primary reason for getting a PS4, but I got one early to play Destiny.

Wii U of course was for no one game, just Nintendo in general. It has easily been the best games machine of the bunch so far.

Console exclusives I can't get on my PC are my next gen system sellers, sadly I have been kinda disappointed in Sonys offering so far (hope for Bloodborne though)

I'll be buying a ps4 and a wii u in 2 years or so, but I can already see some of the games which will make me buy those systems. So far, Bloodborne, Wonderful 101 and Bayo 2.

Last gen lasting too long was the reason why I jumped in day 1, literally. Nothing I've played so far on my PS4 or XBO was worth getting these systems for. Wii U at least gave me Bayonetta 2.

Grabbed a PS4 for Destiny. Had tons of fun with the beta on ps3, and got my fill on the ps4.

For the 3DS, I got it just in time for Pokemony XY, but it was really a combination of that, SMT IV, and ALBW right around the corner.

The Last Guardian.
MGS5 would have been but it's coming to PC too, so no need to buy PS4.

edit. oops.. I need to learn to read.

Ryse for Xbox one (no regrets loved the game and still the best looking next gen game)

Mario kart 8 for Wii U (amazing game and the 4 year old in the house uses this console almost daily)

pS4 wasn't really a seller, infamous was the first title I bought, but I bought it because hey I'm a gamer and can't settle till I own all current consoles! Still not found that game that has wowed me yet, but infamous was ok and the last of us keeps me playing once a week for a hour or so here and there

I was just super excited when the new consoles launched. Bought a PS4 and XBox One on launch night, with no games. I eventually started buying games in the new year.

I still buy games for my 360 though, haven't given up on it. Last week got the Arkham series (imo Origins is the best one, don't understand the hate) and MGS HD collection.

If I would've held off, I would have bought one of the new gen consoles when GTA V remastered came out. GTA 3 made me by a PS2, and GTA 4 made me buy a Xbox 360 (elite)

Yup, love me some GTA.

I bought a PS4 at launch. Not much games that were 'system sellers.' NBA 2K14 was amazing though. Once I held a Dualshock 4 I couldnt go back.

I stupidly bought a PS4 at launch for games it doesn't have. It has been pretty useless to me so far.

Waiting on:

Fallout 5
Skyrim 2
Destiny 2
Titanfall 2

PS4 day 1 with 4 games plus the free ones available:

Killzone
NBA2K14 (bleh!)
Battlefield 4
Knack
Warframe
Resogun

I wouldn't buy a system for any 1 game, but that was a good launch lineup for me.

WiiU gamepad, I'm dead serious...and games, of course. Day 1.

My wife got a ps4 yesterday (that was a birthday gift from his brother), but FF and knack caught our attention when it was revealed.

If we're counting Wii U, Pikmin 3 (and I've owned it since launch...that justified it, but there's a lot of great games there). The other two don't have it yet for me.

A mix of MS' anti-consumer BS, general malaise with their 1st party franchises, PS3 envy late last gen, and a catalog & eco system I found more appealing are what sold me on PS4 more than any one particular game.

Though I did pull the trigger on Black Friday of last year in anticipation of Witcher 3 dropping this February. It seemed dumb to pass up on the TLOU + GTA V bundle and all the crazy game sales just to turn around and grab one 9 weeks later. No regrets.

Killer Instinct / Horizon 2 / Sunset Overdrive for the Xbone
Xenoblade / Bayonetta 2 for the WiiU
Bloodborne for the Ps4

PS4: None really. Bought it day one just like the PS3. Got 5 games (AC: Black Flag, Killzone, NBA 2k14, Knack, and NFS: Rivals)
Wii U: Super Mario 3D World.

Wii U: Bayonetta 2 announcement (didn't ever plan on getting the next Nintendo system after the Wii)
PS4: Microsoft boning everything that was awesome about the Xbox 360.

There is no system seller for me as MGS:PP and XV are coming to PC.

I've had every playstation since the PS1. I don't see myself getting one now. Those are the only two games that interest me, that, and a new MGRR, which is also on PC.

PS3 exclusive games and how they did improve the PS3 overall related stuff in the 2nd half of the generation.
Got it at launch with Killzone but because I knew it's going to have a ton of both exclusive and multi great games in the long run.

To be honest, I'm still waiting. I bought a Wii U day 1 because, well I guess I have a thing for Nintendo, but PS4 and XBONE really haven't done it for me yet. There are a few decent gen 8 only games but I think the lengthened overlap of gens has really hurt the overall quality and quantity of true 'next gen' games.

Zombi U (and other inevitable's)
Bloodborne, and thank goodness for that because I have no Idea what to do with this PS4. But I can't allow myself to miss out on bloodborne. Also thinking about getting Destiny.

I just wanted to be early with a new console this time around. Bought a PS4 because I just truly wanted one.
First games I played on it were AC:IV, Resogun and Killzone. No idea why I bought Killzone, as I hate to play FPS games with a controller, but it was okay.

Xbox One: Killer Instinct
PS4: The inevitably of Uncharted 4 (still bought the system at launch even if it'll sit dusty till Nathan Drake arrives on it).

Wii U - The potential
PS4 - The potential
Xbox One - My friends.
PS Vita - Persona 4 Golden
3DS - The potential

I usually buy consoles out of a desire for something new and the future releases that come with it.

PS4: Last of Us Remastered and Bloodborne
Wii U: Bayonetta 2(and 1 re-release i suppose) and Xenoblade Chronicles X

Not that i have either yet, have PS4 pre-ordered with Last of Us and Bloodborne, and will probably get Wii U later this year.
I kinda want Sunset Overdrive and Quantum Break, but im probably not gonna get an Xbone for em, nothing against the Xbone, just, my guess is there'll be less exclusives i want for it, and SO and QB may get pc ports, i hope anyway...

Halo MCC for XB1. As a big Halo fan, the idea of every game, map, and campaign in one unified package was too good to pass up. Remastered Halo 2 was just icing on the cake.
