What was your system seller for next gen?

I finally went and got a PlayStation 4 today, in anticipation of the Final Fantasy XV demo and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. I've been wanting to get one ASAP ever since it came out, but I finally had the opportunity to do so this week, just in time! Even though I might have waited a bit longer were it not for FF, I can still say that there is a lot of software that I want besides that. Games I"m interested in that are already out or about to be out include:

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (though I'll probably wait until TPP is closer than it currently is)
The Evil Within
Bloodborne
Dark Souls II
GTAV (never played a GTA and it might be a good first one)

It also came with The Last of Us which was one of my favorite PS3 games.

While in the future I am very excited for Batman Arkham Knight, MGS TPP, and Uncharted 4.

Game & Wario honestly, it truly is a gem. As soon as I saw the screens and offscreen vids, I knew it was reason to jump into 8th gen day-one.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Wii U
Bloodborne for PS4
I don't think I'll ever get an Xbox One, but depending on how Scalebound turns out, that will pique my interest towards it.

It will be Bloodborne. Got a day 1 PS4 and only played Child of Light, Lords of the Fallen and Drive Club (like a few hours) so far. That, FF XV, KH3, Persona 5 and SF V will make it worth it for me.

Nintendoland/ SM3d World for the local multiplayer combo during the holidays.

There were a bunch of games I wanted to play, but the opportunity to make good use of the local multiplayer during a specific time period was the tipping point to make me play them asap.

For the Wii U it was The Wonderful 101 and Super Mario 3D World. And for the PlayStation 4 it's Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and Rime. I wish I would have waited for at least one of them to be released before I purchased the system.

Octodad.

Thought it was hilarious that Sony was pushing that game near launch so I decided to keep it since it's less wires going through my house to buy indie games on my PS4 then buying them on my PC and HDMI to my TV

Resogun for PS4.

When I saw it, I knew I needed a PS4 on launch day.

To this day, it's still my most played PS4 game.

On the X1 side..I didn't really have anything to push me over the edge..but if I really had to mention something, I would say Battlefield 4 and being able to play 32 v 32 on a console.

The Mario Kart promotion got me to buy my Wii U.

Walmart had a price error on a titanfall bundle Xbox one that I may have benefited from.

Link between worlds was what got me to buy my 3ds.

All the RPGs that are destined to come to ps4 is what made me get one as soon as I did last summer. Sure the thing sat in my closet for over half a year in its box but nows the time to bust it out with type 0 tomorrow and soon bloodborne.

Wii U: TLoZ The Wind Waker HD and, apparently, Nintendo Land.

Sunset Overdrive made me really interested in Xbox One, as well as Elite: Dangerous port.

Bought a 3DS solely for Resident Evil Revelations. As it turned out, Kid Icarus Uprising was that system's killer app.

Bought a Wii U at launch simply because I hadn't bought a Nintendo console at launch for a long time and figured why not, but any Nintendo console comes with all the usual pre-baked titles: Mario, Zelda, Metroid etc. Bayonetta 2 and that new Project P-100 Kamiya thing didn't hurt either.

Was gonna get a PS4 at some point so I could get my hands on the best console version of The Evil Within, but pulled the trigger a month or so early because I wanted to try Alien Isolation. REmaster, Bloodborne and Arkham Knight were also key incentives.

I'll get a Xbone when Scalebound releases.

I was gonna wait til XV releases but I got the PS4 for dirt cheap last October so that pushed me over the edge to getting one way toooo early.

I still use my PS3 more

Nintendo in HD and a free game with Mario Kart 8 for Wii U.

People to play with online for PS4.

None for the Xbox One so far.

Didn't need system sellers, bought PS4 and Wii U on release on faith that Nintendo and Sony will publish great first party titles for them over time. I may have held off on a PS4 had it not been for Infamous: Second Son but there was no way I was holding off on a Wii U.

Super Mario 3D World. I honestly don't know what came over me, but I just needed this game about a week before release and went out and bought a WiiU. No regrets; game was fantastic and the WiiU has an amazing library.

I'll buy a PS4 when FF15 comes out.

I buy all Nintendo stuff Day One, so it wouldn't have mattered if they just put out a disc with Urban Champion on it for Wii U launch, I still would've bought one. If I had to pick one launch game, it would be New Super Mario Bros. U... though Nano Assault Neo turned out to be #2 for me.

I bought an XBox One for Dead Rising 3.

I didn't get a PS4 until a few months after release. There still isn't really anything that's a system seller (to me) on that system, but I do buy all multi-platform games on it, so it gets used a lot. PS+ helps too.

I bought a WiiU because I couldn't afford to skip Mario Kart 8. This has yet to happen with PS4, I'm not sure which game will make me buy one eventually. I blame PC.

Bloodborne.

Mainly Japanese games that were inevitably going to be announced, such as Persona 5.

Edit: Forgot Wii U. Bought it the day Zelda trailer was revealed.

Wii U and PS4 I got because of the hardware itself, and the company legacies. Both were bought at launch. I bought a XB1 last January for Killer Instinct, and Titanfall, and sold it by the summer. Nothing really wrong with the system, just don't have the time/funds to support 3 consoles.

Killzone: Shadwofall and Infamous:SS

Killzone disappointed, Infamous I quite enjoyed though it was a bit short. Black Flag turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

And yes, the interface itself was a major step up from the PS3. Still find it really easy to navigate around all of the places I want to go, but man hurry up and add custom folders already Sony!
