And Snyder continues to destroy Batman comics. Shocked.

No, he did. So did I. It's not called All-New Batman. Like at all.

From an interview Snyder did with CBR:

A transformative story that ends and burns down everything, and starts something brand new. We toyed with calling it "All-New Batman" afterwards because it's so different. Greg was just like, "I'm up for it! Let's do it! Let's surprise them! Give them what they don't know they want!" I was like, "Alright, let's do it."

Yep. The blue and red lights on the back of the suit look somewhat like a police siren so maybe new Batman is a cop using Waynetech-donated armor.
This was actually the first thing that jumped out at me as pointing to the new direction of the series. Either Batman/Bruce Wayne has allied himself with the GCPD (which, y'know, has happened before) and is providing bat-themed powersuits or robotic bat-drones to the GCPD, or he's been removed from the equation by "Endgame" and the GCPD or some other entity is doing it themselves.

In any case, armor or drone, Bruce or No-Bruce, some sort of policing force is patrolling Gotham under the guise of Batman.

Thank you. I'm glad somebody here actually read the article

Headline says all new batman and that's how Snyder refers to him he even says in the article he wanted to rename the book all new batman

So what the fuck are you two talking about?
Toyed with =/= They're actually calling it that. It gets referred to as Batman #41 multiple times in the article so unless they show an actual title change, no, it's not called 'All New'

As long as it's equipped with Batman Shark Repellent spray, I'm good.
You know it is...

For Aquaman and Wonder Woman sure

GA had a great run under Lemire, Johns did good work with Shazam, Simone's Batgirl was solid enough and her reinvention was atleast a fun take on the character, Grayson has been a cool experiment, finally started Genevieve Valentine's Catwoman and that's been solid. J.H. Williams on Batwoman was fantastic, Lemire's Animal Man was awesome, Injustice has been shockingly good...

New 52 is standard for all superhero comic universes - there's a lot of shit, afew standout books, all of which can change with each shift in creative teams and vision.

Hahaha, what?

Seriously guys, what's the new Batman like?

I've only read up to Secret City, but Scott Snyder is doing a damn fine job so far. A nice balance between the whacky and the noir. He's built up more than enough good will with me so I'm interested to see where he goes with this.

The announcement is making everyone jump to conclusions. I want to see what direction this takes and how long it will really last.

Exactly. It's cute that people think they know where it's going considering everyone's recent reaction to the
Joker origin(s)
in Endgame.

Bugs Bunny has had it up to here with Gotham's shit

Could you imagine the havoc a crime-fighting Bugs could actually spread? He's borderline Cthulhu levels of power.

It's gonna be Commissioner Gordon.

I, Vampire was pretty good, Swampthing is good, Earth 2 was great (now it's kind of hit and miss), I enjoyed JLA/Vibe, B&R is good as well. The only thing I've read that I've actively disliked due to new 52 changes is Teen Titans (Kid Flash is awful) and Red Hood & The Outlaws (Starfire was butchered).

My god that awful awful awful twist

"So guys Im the only halfway likeable character of the bunch, how about I turn into a genocidal maniac for no real reason other than loltimetravel?"

The title and image are making people jump to conclusions up in here. There's like a 0% chance that that suit will be the new status quo. It might not even be Bruce Wayne. All we know is that that image will be the cover for the first issue in the story. Whatever this robo-rabbit-Batman thing is will likely just be a major part of one Batman arc and then the series will return to being about Batman being Batman. Besides Snyder's been great so far so this will probably be good.

DC's definitely always had an edgier world. Just compare Iron Man's kiddy alcoholism to Superman's... tendency to talk down people from suicide?

Or what about Wolverine who fucking murders everyone like a little baby when Batman just uh... sends them to jail.

...No jokes.

Also, that's blue beetle in the OP, right?
