That book is really tempting... I have the World of Thedas book(for Dragon Age) -- it was really well done, and published by the same company.

There is no such law. Simply BG and Icewind Dale were huge hits in Poland (partially due to one of the best localisations in history) and the physical version is kind of a tribute to those games and times (where a box contained not only a CD, but was filled with huge manual, stickers etc.).

My bad, someone told me that. I guess retail is probably just still big in parts of Europe?

Man I want this so badly.
 
I'm going to start recording my first episode for you guys. Someone here requested I go over the races and sub-races for each class, so I'll do that. Any other special requests?

I also modded the game with the IE mod by Bester so I can get to level 12 (max level) for each class and look at all their talents and abilities!

I will probably not edit any of my recordings because I have no clue how to and I plan to just improvise as I do each video lol.

1873 minutes to finish uploading...omg??? Am I doing something wrong lmfao? It's a 17 minute video, WTFFFF??? This will dramatically slow the rate at which I can make videos if this takes this long to upload a video.

No problem, just finished recording the Race/Subrace part of the character creation video. 20 Gigs to upload for a short video, I'm so confused...it's going to take ages to upload and I have a fast internet.
 
I backed the kickstarter at the $20 level. Do I get the pre-order items (space piglet & gaunt's pledge)?

Can't wait to pay this... Oh and I'll be able to pay it on my Mac at work, helllll yes!

Love steamplay so much.

20GB sounds like some kind of uncompressed video footage. Most internet connections are asymmetric, with much higher download speeds than upload speeds. 20GB is a huge amount to upload for a short video.

Someone suggested I use this MSI afterburner video recorder. Is there osmething I should be doing to reducing the file size for these videos?

Compress it to mp4. I usually manage to compress 5GB video to 300MB one that way.
I kinda forgot the program that I usually use to compress my videos, but I guess anything will do. Lots of freeware available for download.

If you have an Nvidia (600,700,900) card you have everything you need. Make sure you have the latest drivers instlaled, and they should've come with the "GeForce experience". Shadowplay is a component of that software and it lets you record your games at 60 FPS 1080p or higher resolution at 30 FPS without any impact in game performance.

If you don't have a compatible Nvidia card, you can use the built in video recorder that comes with MSI Afterburner for free. Great quality, but it uses your CPU (I believe), so it'll impace game performance. However, that probably won't be an issue with this game ;)

Crystal Maiden approves! Thanks for the feedback. I do still want to make my voice sound a bit more "livlier" so I'll try to slow down a bit in my next video later today (2am here!).

Next video will be a general overview of each class and their starting abilities and my thoughts.

Thanks, currently recording my general class overview at the moment. It's going to be a long video. Lots to talk about.

If you guys have any other things that I should talk about let me know.

I'm actually planning to do one entire video on the in-game cyclopedia that discusses all the game mechanics such as status effects, attributes, damage types, defenses, etc.

I'm also trying to actively improve how I speak. I'm not a great talker so hopefully over the course of these videos I can improve that and be more eloquent and not say "um" a lot. I know it's annoying heh.
 
Caved in and bought the Guidebook Volume 1. I don't know when I'll get it, but oh what the hell. I wanna get lost in all that lore.
 
Going back and reading through the original threads for Eternity and Torment. Kinda fun seeing people debate about things versus knowing all the stretch goals and such but I also remember why I barely participated in those threads. Lots of terrible discussions about Kickstarter's viability and how people are suckers and some really cringe stuff about PoE's original concept art and especially how Tides was too much like Torment cause of the Castoff Labrynth or something.

If the theaters are set up the same way they were last year, Albatross (which is the room the panel is in) was streamed. However it's possible that things could have changed.
