Quantum Break new gameplay video from Xbox Japan

Do you guys think that last gen machines could use this time-stopping mechannichs?

So far my major complain with next-gen is that devs don't innovate on the gameplay aspect. Is like if they're just using new machines for prettier graphics.

I think we will see more innovation and "chances" as the gen goes on. Devs/Publishers will have wanted to play it safe at the beginning of the console life imo.

This game just looks sooooo good. Cannot wait, hopefully it doesn't get pushed out of next year. Also like the nice Alan Wake easter egg :).

Absolutely stunning looking - the lighting is amazing. I loved the hell out of Alan Wake, only recently played it, and this is going to be a day one purchase for me.

The game I'm most looking forward to. I love Remedy. The graphics were great. I loved how it went from a cutscene to gameplay.

One of the only games that makes me feel okay about owning an XB1 that I never use. This looks genuinely impressive.

Man. Those transitions from cutscenes are boner inducing.

I actually really like the look of the combat. The different powers should keep things fresh. Love Remedy. Can't freakin wait.

Just watched this again. The complete time stop blows me away. Not only that but the combat just looks so addicting and satisfying.

Seems they nailed the combat down again.

Looks beautiful. Any idea what kind of AA solution has been implemented because the IQ seems very smooth.

I hope this turns out as well as it looks. Presentation is top-notch, and I've really liked the style of Remedy's more recent games. The combat, at least in this slice, still looks really fun. I hope they don't overdo it. I'd rather have tension than excessive fighting.

Gorgeous. The moving floorboards are likely still there but the camera faces away from them when the grenade goes off.

Love the effect when you shoot the quantum soldiers.

Yeah, I think after people watch it a first time, they should watch it a second time solely focusing on all the little details and special effects.

Man, it's fucking mindblowing.

Some of the slow motion/time freeze effects, I can't tell if they're intentional or graphical glitches. Either way, they don't look good.

But I loved Alan Wake, so I'm looking forward to this.

I love everything about this game except for the fucking combat, why must they do this to me? I fucking hate how every game has to have guns and automatic rifles now.

Comments on that video are pathetic.

Have you played Alan Wake? because that game also has guns but the gun play is not generic 3rd person shooter.

Same segment of the game, but new play through. Looks amazing, but also seems to be too easy with the time manipulation.

Just watched the vid again. Those slow motion punches look so satisfying.
The only thing is it looks so easy. I'm not too worried since they probably have it set to easy difficulty for the demo but with how quickly the demo player went in and out of time powers it looked very easy.

The visuals are truly something else!
I don't know if it's been said, but the narrator sounded like George Takei at times. That alone made it even better.

Its for demo purpose. They said the final game will be much tougher.

looks lamer uncharted copy

Time travel, detective puzzles, bullet time and set in urban environment, please justify how any of this relates to Uncharted ? Remedy are the pioneers of bullet time and have been creating 3rd person shooters long before Uncharted.

They both have male protagonist?
I've got nothing :\

Oh wow, this game looks amazing! Was not expecting those clean transitions from cutscenes to gameplay. Facial animations looks to be intact with what we got at E3 2013. I need some NEW gameplay though! Hopefully Remedy show off some more of QB at VGX or earlier.

Haven't noticed him wearing the Night Springs shirt before!

Still looks good. Graphics and lighting are insane sometimes
