Please don't make any huge deal about subtitles but I would like to revisit the subtitle that refers smash bros on portable.

Example: Smashin' Bros on the goes

lmao the person you played got baited so hard

extra tip on this: if the Little Mac player doesn't approach you, that's perfectly fine, don't approach him either
Yeah, if you both stall out, chances are you can Gordo him on Sudden Death.

...unless Little Mac knocks back the Gordo, assuming that's possible.

My question to Shulk players...
Are you feeling it?

Some bastard playing bowser just did the suicide grab on me twice after I got him to 120% without being hit with Shulk and won. :| Next match he played as Bowser he tried to bait me into it again but I just stood at the other edge and taunted.
I cannot stand that. I think you should actively try to fight and not spam a move. Luckily there are not that many Little Macs in For Fun. If I try For Glory, I troll the cheap Little Mac players using the Bowser suicide.

Edit: In terms of a title: Super Smash Bros. for 3DS |OT2| No Items, Little Mac Only, IN THE BATHROOM!

Edit: And just to be clear, I was really feeling it.

Smash-GAF can be a bit negative sometimes, between calling one-trick ponies "bastards" and assuming that everyone who leaves a match "rage-quit." I think it's telling that, when faced with anonymous opponents, many here are inclined to take that blank canvas and assume their adversary is a smug Comic Book Guy-type.

Makes me wonder if I came off that way to others when I've wrecked people before. Truth is, I wasn't looking down on them at all. I just figured they were still learning a character's rhythm or how to play the game. No big deal. Hopefully they thought the same when I've been wrecked myself.

It's best to give people the benefit of the doubt when they destroy you. They might taunt, but that doesn't mean it's mean-spirited. :-)

I always think evidently bad players are adorable kids trying to learn how to play and playing against them makes me feel bad. D:

Until they KO me and taunt. No. Don't do that.

I always taunt when I KO. It's a habit i've built since melee. But I think im good so it happens often lol.

When I'm matched up against an apparent new player, there's some hesitation in how rough I handle them, because I don't want to turn them off playing Smash with others. :-\

I found a stubborn player on FG that wouldn't stop playing against me with Bowser Jr. He wouldn't quit even after I had won like 7 matches, so I kept at it and kept beating him with a different character every time, I even beat him with Bowser Jr! (Well Iggy) Ended up losing a couple of matches later but overall won like 9 out of 12 with him. Helped bump up my win/loss ratio! : D

I'm assuming aimed at me, wasn't trying to be negative. I literally laughed out loud when it happened. I would call one of my friends a bastard if they did that to me as well. :P

I beat him the next two matches anyways. It was more just the surprise of being double KO'd after getting someone to 120% without being hit that got me.

I'm only going to assume that on the 3DS version, cause that's where the kids are

Ah, OK. :-) To be clear, my comment wasn't meant to diminish you or anything. I was just commenting on a trend I perceived in the Smash community.

When should one taunt? I've always done it after a hard fought KO. I don't take it personally when my opponent taunts, either. It's just a fun way to celebrate a kill.

To be honest, I don't respect rage quitters. That's all.

Take your losses like a man!

Why was Little Mac considered a bad character early on? Even with his weaknesses, he's still a great character. I told you all that he was powerful!

This one is great! lol

I'm such a taunter. I often end up taunting, when I should be edge guarding. I never regret it, though.

Bastard is pretty common banter.

Yeah, it's no big deal. :-D

Also, you guys want psychological warfare? Once my opponent accidentally self-destructed. I then threw myself off the ledge to even the stocks. My opponent was so moved by this display of charity that they seemed to be in a bit of a stupor the rest of the match. Also, even if they end up beating you, they feel robbed of a victory because they know you threw a stock, muahaha.

In person I do it basically every time I kill someone, unless there's something better I could be doing like charging something. I've started to feel weird for doing it against For Glory opponents though, because that is the only actual way I'm communicating with them. I really just like seeing the animations and voice clips.

Vs an online Little Mac.

Laggy as hell.

Using Ike because why the hell not.

Managed to KO him both times by using Fsmash after dodging his one hit KO.

Goddamn, did that feel great.

I only taunt when I KO bad opponents resorting to cheap tactics to win. I usually try to taunt twice if I can.

I tend to fight online players relentlessly no matter how good or bad they are. Though if someone accidentally SDs before either one of us are even at 20%, I kill myself too just to nice :p

I also have a habit of just short hopping around the stage after killing someone instead of taunting. I used to do that in Brawl just to practice since I used to be bad at short hopping.

Some taunts are just cute. Like the one where Little Mac shuffles and punches really quick in the air, or Pac-Man lying on the ground dreaming about ghosts. :-D

I think it's a pretty common thing to over imagine details and assume the person is just mad or evil or incompetent.
The irony of the whole exchange is I was commenting on the "fundamental attribution error" of others but might've been perpetrating it myself by perceiving certain attitudes, lol. Curse this Internet devoid of tone!

I always SD whenever my opponent accidentally does it too to even the stocks. I just personally don't like winning from that lol.
I usually do it too. But at the same time, I hate when people do it for me. The people I've talked to have all generally been the same way; they want to be the nice guy and give it to you, but most are competitive enough that they don't want the charity either.

Just make sure they're properly KO'd before you taunt. I've done it before thinking they were done for good only to see them recover.

How to kill Little Mac in 5 easy steps:

1. Choose Dedede or Kirby. Dedede is much preferred.
2. Camp on the edge. Let Little Mac approach.
3. Inhale Little Mac then drop off the stage.
4. Spit out Little Mac at halfway down.
5. Recover. Rinse and repeat. :p

Tried that twice. It caused a player to quit on me lol.
Lmfaoooo I gotta try this when I get homd

Yeah that's what I do. Short hop aerials. With Yoshi I aim his egg throws in different direction as some sort of practice lol

you guys are lame, take the stock :P

If you're playing online, particularly in For Glory, then I assume you have already stepped through the fires of Hades to challenge me. I therefore must do my best to send you back, no matter how poor of a challenge you put up.

The more I play this, the more I wished I had just waited for the Wii U version. I really dislike the controls, after playing for while I still don't like them.

Instead of taunting after a KO, I usually crouch. Reason being, Zero Suit's idle animation also looks like a taunt, and it happens quickly.
