Good games Namikaze! You were really impressing me in these games! I like that you kept trying new things and kept using them when they worked. Dat Bowser neutral A.

The lag was getting a little bit too heavy for me at the end there-- not sure if it was you or me. I'm gonna take a quick break, but I'll probably do a few more matches in a bit.

So how many of you guys have tried Doc's customs? He seems to win out since one of his tornadoes is really good for recovery which means he can use the explosive jump punch (which Mario can't really do). Wind cape is cool too.
 
Alright, Good Games Jorge. Now I understand why people are fearful of Mac on flat places. And you remember you have counter is the worst part. We need to duke it out again sometimes soon. And fuck his tilts and dash attack man almost impossible to hit the guy back.

Haha still have to work around them platforms tho. Great games!
 
Is the trophy shop and trophy rush seriously the only two things you can spend gold on? Besides the spectator mode?

If so, the gold economy is FUCKED. I always have way way too much gold. Trophy rush should've cost a lot more, at least 2000.

It might have been on miugels end to, in our single matches we still had lag, and mines been working great all day. I wouldn't worry about it.

Well Anonymous, I definitely got 'better', if winning once without you committing suicide and once with you committing suicide is considered better. You are really good with Mega Man with your nearly perfectly accurate grabs, and you're almost impossible to approach. Little Mac is my most hated character, and you being good with him doesn't help :P My favourite kill was with Lucario and Extreme Speed, it was unexpected for me.

Lag definitely appeared near the end. If it was me it probably means my brother started streaming. I don't have time for more matches today, but I hope I can battle you again, hopefully with improved techniques.

They should have had an equipment/custom moves store and made the stuff expensive.

Add one more to the chalkboard of "why" for this game.

You can unlock Snake as a character if you obtain 1,000,000 of gold.

How the heck do you deal with Shulk's fresh Counter? The active window for that thing is ridiculous, and it's so much safer/requires less commitment than literally any other Counter in the game.
 
Finally got my Cap to do damage online. Won 15 straight.

Only character my Cap's having trouble with is Mac. Gotta practice my edgeguarding.
 
Say Jorge, how do you put up with other competent Lil Mac? His tilts and dash attack comes out so fast that it's hard to hit the guy back. I imagine a mirror match would involve a lot of moving back and forth waiting for each other to make a fatal error.
 
People are telling me to watch out for Rosalina - Why?

I've yet to see anyone play her but I'm told she's monstrous. Anyone have any footage?

First hand experience. Rosalina is a beast in this game when used properly. Just too many options in her game, and her Luma is just so strong.

Does the game face you with people with your ''skill level'' or something? Cause now each match is a mortal kombat now, i don't have the easy ones as before. Not like I mind, I prefer battles where I can learn.
 
I really think it's odd how Shulk's vision should be one of the stronger counter moves because obviously that's what Shulk does all the time and yet it's somehow one of the more useless ones.

There is a form of matchmaking from what I understand. After getting like 80% win rate I started getting pro-level opponents. In just 1 day, my win rate dropped to 54% (played a total of 315 FG matches). My last 10 matches was 1/10 lol

Really? With the big open window and the combo with Smash Monado, it's a sure killer at mid-high percentage. Also if you press forward, it's even more killer but the sword slash is narrower.

Yeah, skill-based matchmaking was confirmed back in April and it does seem to me that Sakurai wasn't lying.

Well the ROB from Wisconsin that I bodied last night wasn't that great but he's from Wisconsin so it's understandable that he would lose to someone from Minnesota, the superior state. He was better than most nobs though if I'm being honest.

My favorite KO against Robins is grabbing the Levin Sword/discarded tome first and throwing it at them. :p



GGs TWILT. That was the first good Shulk I've seen....most online I've played against mash counter and jab combo. lol
