You don't have to beat it with all three Mii types for it to count, but you do have to beat it with all three in order to get unique trophies for each.

Makes me wonder if I have to beat the game with each alt character for their trophies as well - the koopa kids, or Alph from Pikmin, that sort of thing. Anyone know?

Koopa Kids are normal trophies that can be found/bought.
 
Here are my mains (In order)
1. Greninja
2. Ike
3. King Dedede
Im also thinking of getting ROB in there, but I still have some testing around to do with others. I really like the way he plays. Anyone else have a similar list?

GAF, I need more Custom Moves. Is Classic Mode + Home Button trick still the best and fastest way? How many new Custom Parts are you average on Intensity 8.0 and higher?

Sometimes I would get lucky from Intensity 5.5 to 7.5 and get 6 and at one time 9(!!!) new and different Custom Moves, but the average playthrough on any intensity is 2-4 new Custom Moves. I just crossed over 110 parts. Jesus, there's like 250+ more to go.

Mixing up that and Smash Run are apparently the best ways to do it. You can also get some in that minigame with the falling blocks, but that's a lot slower.

Alternate between Smash Run and Stadium events. You can still get them that way without being so burnt out by the same thing.

And can anyone add me? Third day and not a single add. Randoms are getting dull. 4141-4389-8328

My Top Five Fighters (So Far)?

- Zero Suit Samus
- Bowser
- Bowser Jr.
- Lucina
- Rosalina & Luma

Lucina and R&L are recent additions. I'm surprised I like playing as Lucina since I never liked playing as Marth. And I just started learning R&L, but I see a lot of potential in her.

Zero Suit Samus is just incredible, though. I never get tired of playing as her. I don't think I've ever been so hooked on a character in a fighting game.

And as a Bowser main in Melee and Brawl, I'm super-pleased with the buffs he received. Amazing what adjusting his posture for a proper run can do. Also, I used to play Mr. G&W in equal measure, but I haven't experimented with him much in SSB4. I wonder if he's changed...

Oh, and Bowser Jr. is just pure unadulterated JOY in fighter form. Everything about him is so adorable... so clever... so cool! I just have to be mindful of the punishable lag on some of his moves. I'm just rocking Junior himself, btw. Can't pick from among the Koopalings since I love them all, although when I pick one I usually go with Morton.

And while I adore the characters of Palutena, Greninja and Shulk... I just can't wrap my head around them in this game. Not yet, anyways. I mean, I get how they play, but I haven't pinned down the right rhythm for them yet. Need to spend some quality lab time with them!
 
Man, when you think about the combo monster Mario has become, the huge buffs to Bowser and Yoshi, the return of Dr. Mario, the addition of Rosalina and Bowser Jr., the way they worked in the Junior Clown Car and all seven Koopalings... Fans of the Mario series are sitting pretty with this game!
 
I am enjoying playing a Sheik but good lord I can never finish people off! I can get a side-Smash and then just got of wait for them to come back. Does she have an up air attack?

Oh its all good man, keep an eye out for my lobbies each night around this time. I get bored of 1 on 1 sometimes and the 4 player With Anyone games lag too much so im trying to create a friends list of East Coast players.

I did a match to test and um... The guy was from Texas, which is like a 50 to 60ms of ping location for me, but there was like an entire second of input delay so this is certainly legit. (I suicided ASAP for obvious reasons, ya know?)

Anyone know how to fix? Might just have to reset the modem and hope for the best but I can't do that right now.

Trying to Main Rosalina and Luma and boy do I have problems with rushdown characters like Sheik and especially Fox. Everytime I fight one I get juggled into kill zone, and it's really hard to keep him at arms length due to his speed.

For those of you fighting scrubbing R+L's like me with a sword user, it's pretty easy to gimp Luma if you can knock Rosalina off the stage since Luma doesn't really have many options. I had a round where I spent basically the entire game without a Luma.

Man, I think the only stages that don't feel super zoomed out when playing 1v1 are like normal Battlefield and normal Yoshi's Island. The difference is huge.

In Classic mode you have that reel before each match that has your reward. Red wrenches are customization items including custom moves. You hit the home button and it pauses the game on that frame, so you can cheese it and pause it until you get a red wrench reward. Just hold A when you return to the game and it will give you that reward.
