Haha thanks, your Puff and your Wario are no slouches either :) I look forward to playing your ROB, I'm not quite sure I'm playing ROB right to begin with!
Nah you're great with him. One thing I'd say is to always keep your distance with ROB. He's largely a long ranged character since his close range options are so limited. An advice I'd give is to try and space with FAir more since it's a very safe move, and set up the Gyro whenever is possible. You were doing pretty great with spacing FSmash though! Had me a lot of times haha.

Damn, you guys are crushing these challenges. I don't think I even have 100 trophies yet.

Trophy Rush + Classic mode + Trophy Shop. This is the easiest Smash in terms of collecting trophies. Currently at 300 trophies with basically 25% of time on single-player modes (75% online).

So Rosalina's FAir is my most loathed move in the entire game: multiple hits, lasting hitbox, insane knockback. The move shuts down Mac with ease, and puts most other characters at a disadvantage as well.

Is there any downside to just running through All-Star on easy repeatedly to get the "Complete All-Star with all characters" challenge? I've already beaten it on normal and hard so I don't need to worry about those challenges.

I had been looking for something to use against Little Mac so I will have to remember this. I'm usually terrified to do Rosalina's forward air, since if that's the somersault I'm thinking of, I assume she is completely defenseless if anyone (like Little Mac) dashes underneath and up-smashes her in the back?

I didn't think it even hit forwards until the animation starts to finish, and it's slooow. I thought it was a thing that might trick someone with bad reflexes if they expect you to attack on the ground and hit under you.

They should have gave Wii Fit Trainer some magical normal moves along with the regular ones. Or at least something that would help her range. She already tosses out magical orbs and can create enormous explosions, so it wouldn't be too out there with the way the character is currently.

A bit too early for the cosmetics still, but so far I like

nothing besides having lower scores, I think

lol

I'm really liking Ness in this game. I dunno but PK Thunder is easier to control in this game and is actually more useful. Would probably add him to my go-to guys online.

After a long time coming, finally beat classic on 9.0

the biggest problems were crazy hands and the swords form of the master core, after a million tries of memorization, finally got it down.

Nooooo was pasting this Villager and couldn't get to the charger quick enough before my 3DS died haha. Darn!

Also, Bowser is a monster, and Greninja can suck it.

You get more rewards on normal, but yeah no downside to going on easy otherwise.
I also miss the extra joystick for smash attacks.

What kind of score are you going for? I got 3900 ft. with Villager by just doing the old throw the bat and spike the sandbag strat from previous games. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0URC_YGHX_w

Was just doing my first run with several characters, so I didn't have a particular score in mind (I got 1940 or so by spamming the Bowling Ball, haha). I'm familiar with that strategy, but I wanted to see how far those two characters could take it on their own.

Good games Valus, man you got game, just wish that little stutter lag every now and then was absent but other wise good stuff. Can't wait to rematch you when I get better lol

I couldn't finish captain with duck hunt at over 150% lol

GGs bro! You're damn good too. We'll play again sometime. =]

Ah, I should clarify: I didn't mean FAir while on the stage--I meant as an edgeguarding tool. The move is slow an punishable if used while on the stage, but when the opponent is trying to recover, Rosalina's FAir is absolutely brutal.

So who's the best character to use in rival smash? Getting 50 KO's is more of a struggle than I thought it would be.

I had some trouble as well, but I managed to do it as Mac. The key is to just demolish as many Mii Fighters as possible without hitting your rival. It could be just a coincidence, but it seemed like my doppelganger was content with minding his own business until I (inadvertently) struck him, at which point he started targeting me along with the Mii Fighters.
