Definitely not. Robin is awesome. Amazing aerials, ridiculously good (and fast) projectiles and zoning options, above-average dash attack, good shield pressure (via Arcfire), strong edgeguard tools, and fairly fast smash attacks. If only s/he had a better grab-range and Nosferatu were a little more practical than they'd be my ideal character in absolutely every respect. If Robin didn't have to manage those tomes and sword uses, s/he'd be fucking unstoppable.

Best character in SSB4 by far.

Literally my ideal Smash character. I couldn't have asked for a better character.

Don't. Some of the challenges are ridiculous to try legitimately. It'll just limit you from playing the most fun part of the game (playing against other players).

I finished the "complete 100-man Smash with every character" challenge yesterday. I hated it and there are at least 5 worse challenges on the 3rd board. >_>

I hate that the hammers are limited to their respective board, I didn't use any from board 1, let me use them on board 2 or 3 >.<

It's not really too bad if you're not planning on finishing them all in a week, anyway. I'm going to keep playing the 3DS version after the Wii U one comes out just because I can take it on the go, so I'll be plugging away at it for some time. Hammers are a crutch.

Seriously, why the heck isn't there a "Favorites" or "Rivals" System for the Online-Mode. You can put people on a Block-list! Just have a similar reserved list and you have an easy and simple system in place ...

Rosalina as an opponent is starting to annoy me, in the level of Little Mac territory lol. Using Luma as a meat shield. I'm sure I hit a lot of attacks only to find out I only managed 58% the whole game.

I have no idea how I would deal with someone who's good with Rosalina, lol. I can totally see how it would be really annoying.

I sure do love beating up on CPUs with my luma though!

I played one For Glory match where I forgot to choose a character because I was reading NeoGaf. So I end up playing as Wii Fit Trainer against a Lucina. I have no idea how to play WFT. After a while I realized the the Lucina would attack my shield with an aerial and land every time, so I just shield grabbed the rest of the match. Worked the whole time. V. V

Dat lack of L-Cancel. I also find it difficult to fast fall when doing aerials without the c stick.

Imagine trying to beat that stupid challenge board challenge where you HAVE to beat it at 9.0.

Fuck.
I am going to attempt it with Critical Equipment. Still need 130 KO's though...

Has anyone managed to KO 4 enemies in Cruel multi man Melee?
Yeah, I found a trick...
- Pick Shulk, Counter (Down+B) when they hit, then forward to launch them far. If any luck they will not be able to land and you got 4 KO's. Any character that counters work (Marth, Ike, Mii Swordsman).

Sonic was my favorite character in Brawl. But he was terribad.

He's much improved in this game, from my experience with him so far. Makes me happy!
Yeah, he is actually fun to play in this game. Too bad Dedede was not really improved that much.

Can someone explain, how does the hosting of online matches work? Does the person who initially started the room always host or does it shift?

I ask because my three buddies and I were playing online yesterday and there was some serious lag. But we couldn't figure out if it was because three of us were on one terrible wifi connection, or because the original hoster's wifi (who was elsewhere) was terrible...

Okay, just got some good new from Verizon where the requirements to access the wi-fi have changed (Presumably someone was hacking my wi-fi) and this should result in a better connection on my end. Will try it out later tonight

Prettttty sure it times out.

I don't know, actually. Most Mac players I fought throw it out the moment they get it.

I don't think it does. I've had it for as long as a full minute (which is forever in fighting game land) to as short as 15 seconds. It goes away when Mac takes enough damage.
