sorry if this already posted.

Who's a good character to go against Little Mac?
I just 3-stocked one with Jigglypuff. Don't even bother hitting him against the edge. They'll just counter. Just throw to the side or up and let the forward-air and back-airs do its job. The hard part is approaching for the throw though.

On another note, let me just say that the Jigglypuff CPU's are finally the best I've ever seen them in Smash. They never use Sing or Rest but their Rollouts are all perfect and they're quite good at killing especially with their down-smash. Did not know that sends people on a downward trajectory off the edge. It's quite handy and many characters won't be able to reach up top.

Good games Moonlight. Some advice/things to try (I'm not really a Robin expert):

- Try not to use ElWind too much in the air above the opponent on the flat stages since you can be punished for it somewhat easily. And it's not too difficult to dodge the wind blasts.
- If you block my smash attacks would it be possible to use Nosferatu afterward to punish?
- Try using short hop neutral air/forward air/back air for approaching on the ground. They all autocancel (Neutral air you have to let the animation play out though so you may need to go forward or backwards when doing it), so you can do some ground attacks right away when you land.

Yeah, the hitbox on it is really huge lol. The explosion effect doesn't cover the whole thing. :
Thanks! Yeah, Elwind is a pretty bad habit of mine. It feels like a nice option for covering your descent, but... yeah. Spent a lot of time getting punished for them.

I'd have to see about punishing Smash attacks with Nosferatu. I've always been kinda apprehensive about using the move, since there's a lot of start-up and the hitbox is a little tricky, but punishing endlag with it might work.

Nailing short-hopped aerials is a liiittle tricky with Robin without Elfire. Their shorthop is pretty high, so I've been whiffing them a lot on moving targets, heh. I do keep forgetting about neutral air, though.

Would love to get owned by Gaffers!

You guys probably already know this, but there is a really easy way to beat the 3200 ft. Home Run Contest Challenge. Here's what you do:

-Pick Shulk.
-Grab the bat and change to Buster mode.
-Forward smash x 3.
-Change to Smash mode.
-Forward smash.

Boom, 3300 ft minimum from just that.

Does equipment work in vs mode? I wish you could have custom moves on, with equipment disabled. It just seems a bit unruly, I never bother with them.

Do people find the equipment to be subtle? Or can it break the game easily?

Damn, and here I was using the old school Yoshi Dair method.

Dunno where I stand with Smash players nowadays. I know I don't block as often as I should, and I suck at timing the invincibility on dodges.

Also, fuck AI Counter moves. >=C

I did it with Ganondorf, side tilt til the bag reaches 90% - 100% than WHACK!! Your over 3000ft lol.

My Cap is getting wrecked online :( mainly by Macs. I can't get his grabs and air attacks to work. Input lag isn't helping.

Any tips from Cap users? Is anyone here maining newcomers?

having problems doing this. why does shulk's arts grey out after switching to the first art?

edit - got it, nvm

I have to admit I like Smash Run way more than expected; it's like the best part of Subspace Emissary - the Metroid lite map at the end of the campaign. A surprising amount of random events and level features on each session make it alluring. I did not expect it to have dynamic missions that pop up with a timer on them. It's fun even with 3 CPUs.

Also like that the final battle isn't always just a brawl, but can be a variety of challenge games.

Any cool Mii Fighters out there? I have the Swedish Chef from The Muppets, Gaben, He-Man, Hank Hill, and Isaac from The Binding of Isaac.
