I was playing For Glory earlier on and I knocked Wario off the stage but he just flew a huge distance back in? Is that one of the glitches? He should have probably been killed but I won anyway so I don't mind.

Just did a Smash Run and ran around unable to know where to go. Had a battle after anyway, and lost.

Since no more Young Link, and not a fan of Toon Link, I'm playing as Villager. Seems to be the one I like most so far: but have no idea what his best method of play or or anything.

Go to training. There they tell you what your special moves are and how to execute them. Practice a bit there. If you want to see techniques you can watch online replays in spectate mode. Choose villager in For Glory 1v1 to see good players' techniques. It's been helpful for me to learn Little Mac.

Maybe he is, but i didn't have any real problems yet with them. Warping all over the place and fakewarping really helps. And most of those macs or to stupid to grab so.... ah well. More fodder for me :P
 
I'm so glad I ended up buying this on 3DS instead of Wii U. This game is perfect for picking up playing for 15 minutes at a time then going back to something else.
 
So, the record for my game with Beats and his WFT was like 3-20. I got soundly wrecked, haha. Wish I'd presented a better challenge, at least. Kinda put some things in perspective. Thanks for bearing with me, at least.

But man, the hitbox for Explosive Deep Breathing is insane. Half the time I thought I was out of range and I still got clipped.
 
How the hell do you kill with Greninja? I really want to love him, but I can never finish up anyone. So annoying seeing people live past 150% without being close to dying.
 
SmashGAF, don't forget to turn on StreetPass in the game.

Just got back today with my streetpass on and out of 7 people, 5 were playing Smash and only 1 had StreetPass turned on.

On a side note...if anyone can tell me how to get the panels for StreetSmash without having to actually StreetPass, would appreciate it. Practice does not seem to be working.
 
Just went through Classic on 7.0 as Bowser Jr., going for custom moves. I got 13 total custom items, only two of which were Jr. moves, and one of them was a duplicate.

Man, my win rate in FG has plummeted today. Either everyone is suddenly much better than I am or it's just my hand fatigue. I should put the game down until tomorrow.

Good games Moonlight. Some advice/things to try (I'm not really a Robin expert):

- Try not to use ElWind too much in the air above the opponent on the flat stages since you can be punished for it somewhat easily. And it's not too difficult to dodge the wind blasts.
- If you block my smash attacks would it be possible to use Nosferatu afterward to punish?
- Try using short hop neutral air/forward air/back air for approaching on the ground. They all autocancel (Neutral air you have to let the animation play out though so you may need to go forward or backwards when doing it), so you can do some ground attacks right away when you land.

Yeah, the hitbox on it is really huge lol. The explosion effect doesn't cover the whole thing. : p

Sometimes yeah. But it's possible to get early kills. There a lot of hidden sub systems that affect knockback that aren't properly explained by the game. There should be a tutorial for it honestly. : \

You can shield most of his attacks besides the grab, the wind thing and maybe the rocket hand/finger without worrying about it breaking. If he does the attack where he comes down with the spinning hand you can shield then roll out of it.
 
Have any of you guys disconnected while playing with friends?

We're just playing until the Smash logo appears and then we just get a "No Contest." After that we have to remake the lobby, but it just keep happening randomly.

It's peer-to-peer so if that keeps happening then at least one of you has a shaky connection.

I got so frustrated a while ago that I actually played For Fun
and it was actually fun but why in the world did they make it only 2 minute timed battles
 
I was suprised that while unlocking Ganondorf, during Classic Mode in the battle against the hands they suddenly merged or something and formed blades and then transformed into a weird version of Link. lol I should play 5.0 or higher more often.
