Super Smash Bros. for 3DS |OT2| Nintendo All-Stars Battle Quarter Pounder

I didn't put much stock into those lists from sites like Kotaku saying how everything is unlocked, but I'm really kind of confused altogether at this point.

I used Link at 7.0 to try and get
Ganon
, but ended up fighting Dark Pit (which I understand I met another supposed unlock requirement, so maybe that's why). A little while later I did a run with Bowser to try and grab
Jr.
, only to end up fighting
DHD
, and then the next classic run after that resulted in
G&W
, despite me playing as Marth trying to find his female counterpart.

I haven't even come close to playing 120 matches, and I've barely scratched playing as most of the roster and modes, yet I've got almost everyone unlocked so far. I still don't have
Gannon or Lucina
, and the weirdest thing is how I had three challengers in a row from two classic modes and a normal Smash battle (and they're all ones people claim take the longest to unlock, too).

Wario from 100 man melee is the only one that was unlocked like everyone is saying should happen

I really just kind of wish there was a comprehensive list detailing unlock requirements, if only to clear up all this speculation and confusion. I'm really pretty disappointed at how easy everything is to unlock (and how the huge the starting roster is), but the seemingly random unlocks just makes it seem less special than Melee or Brawl. I don't know, I guess I'm looking for too much out of this.
 
So apparently, i CAN connect to Azuran's room when I'm connected through my phone's WiFi hotspot.
That eliminates the NAT issue i have with my router.

HOWEVER, brace yourselves for INCREDIBLE lag! lol



I'm gonna try playing once, if it's laggy and it's hindering everyone's entertainment I'll just drop out. :)



If you are having error code I was receiving, the problem is because of your NAT type.

Probs. It's okay I was going to lose anyways since stupid Greninja is a suicide machine. DAT Down Aerial.

Edit: Tried to joined but I get "unable to join game." No error code or anything.
 
The real problem is priority. The first three classic run unlocks are on the top. You will probably get the others in due time. I think those that you get by playing classic mode got top priority over the other conditions. I bet of you mess around in Smash you will wind up with lots of those you unlocked.
 
Okay, let's go at this again. Ada you can try joining and hopefully this game is nicer to all of us this time. Room is up. If something goes wrong once again, I'm sacrificing a cat plushie to curse Sakurai-san forever.
 
Just played a series of matches against a good Rosalina, sweet jesus that woman is terrifying in the right circumstances, I swear Luma has as much knockback on its attacks as freaking Donkey Kong and Rosalina isn't shabby herself with well rounded standard moves that tend to have some sneaky range on them because what I can only describe as cosmos bullshit.
The struggle was real with my usual characters being of the slow attacking, no projectile types, after struggling with my usual selections for few wins (thank you Ike) I just thought nuts to it lets use fast characters which was infinitely more successful, thank you Diddy Kong and oddly enough Greninja who I've not used much of, its shadow sneak was glorious in this match up.
Anyway point is that Rosalina seems really potent in the right hands, it was really interesting seeing how well this player could manipulate and place the Luma whilst keeping themselves in a good position, I swear her sideways roll is better than everyone elses.

In other news now I can remember the difference between what Monado buster and Smash do Shulk just got a lot more fun.

I just played a random game with my other laggy connection, it was so laggy I was stuck at a black screen for a good 2 minutes or something.

I'm gonna ruin your games so I better not join lol. But thanks!

My Music from Brawl is coming back in the Wii U version but the 3DS version just has the two per stage.

Which is silly because there's a method for selecting tracks for Smash Run, they ought to have just used that for the stages :/
 
For that challenge to clear classic on 9.0 difficulty, can you choose only masterhand as boss or do you have to do the master hand and crazy hand combo?
 
According to what I've read you can unlock all characters by just playing 'Smash Mode Battles'. If I keep playing classic mode (to unlock the character trophies and such) will all those battles count as 'smash mode battles'?
 
One thing I noticed about "rage"

In a light and fast dominated meta, rage is a wide-range minor buff to all the heavier guys.
As knockback increases by percent, the heavies that can survive at higher percents see more benefit from rage while the lighter chars risk messing up their combos if they have too much dmg built up.

Uh dude "Smash Mode battles" are just the standard, knock-out/stock battles you play in multiplayer.

Nope, does not count toward challenge panels as well. Although to clear challenge you need to beat Classic Mode 51 times. So meh...

Here:

Ness - Beat Classic
Falco - Beat Class w/o continues
DP - beat Class w/ 3 characters
Duck Hunt - Beat Class w/ 8 chars
G&W - Beat Class w/ 10
Lucina - Beat Class w/ Marth and no continues
Ganondorf - Beat Class w/ Link or Zelda @ 5.0 or higher
Bowser Jr. - Beat Class w/ Bowser @ 6.0 or higher
Jigglypuff - 30 equips, Solo Smash or Classic after
ROB - 200 trophies, Solo Smash or Classic after
Doc - Beat Class w/ Mario @ 4.0 or higher
Wario - 100 man Melee

If you unlock multiple characters at once then they "queue up" since you can only fight one at a time. In these situations, clearing the queue by doing Solo Smash matches is recommended.
 
I've put my Twitter nickname as my online message, in case any player I fight against wants to contact and add me as a friend. Thing is I don't think that many people know you can see your rival's message and location by clicking at their profile in the results screen, and I'm not sure if the word Twitter (I spelled it Twttr, just in case) gets censored or something.
