Really enjoying this game, so far my GOTY (until the Wii U version) and best Smash Bros by far. Been playing some for fun matches but damn it's laggy as hell, I have no issues with 1vs1 for glory though, which BTW been kicking ass with Samus and Little Mac, he's a beast!! Is there anyway you can save those replays on your computer or post them on miiverse?

Not sure if this has been figured out yet, but my friend just played Classic for the first time and got Ness instead of Falco. I know a lot of people were saying Falco=Classic once and Ness=classic twice, but I think it might be Ness=Classic once and Falco=Classic without a continue, since my friend died once during his run through.
That sucks. I'm struggling with dashing with the little nub thing.
It takes a while to get used to it, especially if your trying to do the forward tilt moves. Just wait til the Wii U version gets here

I've seen so many people saying x unlocks x, but I've always got them differently.
I went Lucina > Falco > Duck Hunt Dog > Ness > Jigglypuff or something crazy like that.

Yeah I got Ness -> Falco -> Wario -. Lucina -> then I died on Dr. Mario, and the next match was ROB then I got Dr. Mario again and beat him -> Dark Pit ->, now I got Ganondorf
I'm mostly playing random Smashes to try out moves and stuff though.

I went Lucina -> Dark Pit -> Falco -> Ness for my first 4 classic runs.
What's the unlock condition for Dark Pit? I assume Lucina was for using Marth/a Fire Emblem character.

I love gambling and you can bet on matches in spectator mode. Holy crap I love this game!

Why did this have to be in the game via equipment? This would make the game so much more fun for me in tournament play.
It would be amazing if there was some kind of shield stun badge and a momentum conservation badge, just set it so every character has them on (badges can be used by everyone) and you have a great tournament standard.

And you were just playing Classic? Well then that muddies up what most people thought about Duck Hunt, saying it was tied to like 8 or 10 clears or something.
The rest make sense though, beating Classic with Marth (Lucina) outprioritizes beating Classic without a continue (Falco) which outprioritizes beating classic once (Ness). Jigglypuff I have no idea.
Yea, we know random multiplayer smashes have a set order. Each character has an unlock condition set for a certain number of multiplayer matches.
Yeah I was just doing classic.

Fixed my 3DS! Was ready to just buy another 3DS, but instead bought a Circle pad pro and replaced the broken stick in my 3DS with the one from there. Works a treat!

I have an Iron Man Mii too. You can get the face to look surprisingly accurate, and the red heavy armor suit looks perfect.

Drinking and Smash Bros is the perfect combo.
We were just playing 1v1 3 stock each stock lost you have to drink 1 Mississippi the other person counting, and the loser had to take a shot of warm ciroc. I had the lead one match Robin v Ike! Everything was perfect!and I got smashed out, and somehow I messed up my entire last two lives, got caught in an aether last minute and it was done.
That shot was painful on top of everything else I had already put down.

Sonic - holy god, it's hard as hell to stop after dashing. And there's massive recovery after his dash attack. notsureifwant.jpg
Samus - that Dark Samus alt is cool.
"The Holy King" aka "His Benevolent Majesty" aka King Dedede - Gordos are so hit and miss. They're godlike but so easy to reflect. Normals and aerials are really solid. I think he might be good?
Greninja - still noticing a slight delay on up and down smash that i'm not crazy about, though pestering with shurikens and punishing their approach works well for me.
Captain Falcon - Up air

I was hoping Greninja would be a fast and snappy fighter like Sheik based on videos...but actually playing him is quite disappointing. Most of his smashes feel pretty slow. Guess I'm sticking with Sheik!

I feel relatively comfortable with Lucina now. I'm by no means good, but I'm holding my own (and winning!) a fair share of For Fun matches with her so I don't totally suck, and I don't see myself getting competative so this is fine for me.
Anyway, the problem is is that she's the only character I'm good with. As soon as I switch to someone else, I get bodied by everyone. As someone who enjoys Lucina, who would be another character to have a bash at? I feel like I want to learn Robin (FE:A <3) but I just cannot wrap my head around his play style. It's probably possible.
Definitely not the way I did it since the last one for me was to have three outfits unlocked. Since the second board has a square for five outfits, that'd make it impossible to not open up the second board before that condition is satisfied. But if you'd leave another panel on the first board as the last one on there, it might work.

High difficulty classic mode with home menu trick IMO.
Ok, so I've filled up the first wall of challenges except for two - collect three types of custom equipment and unlock the hidden character ???. I also have three golden hammers - I assume I should keep these for the really hard challenges and not use them for the first set of challenges.
How do you unlock custom equipment? I figure I'll unlock most of the characters just playing VS stock matches.
Also, can you really not have shield on both L and R, and grab on Y? That's kinda annoying.
