I can't count how many times I've gone up against Little Mac online. He seems to be the most popular character. I actually went up against my first Mario just a second ago. I'm training my Duck Hut, so I lost, but not by much. He's a great character.

I always have a blast playing against little Mac players in for fun mode. Watched so many of them fall to their doom in rainbow road or any stage where a platform disappears and requires you to jump.
 
Anybody else not pick this up for fear of burning out prior to Wii U version?
All this 3DS talk is tough to sit thru!!!
 
wtf this is the second time this has happened to today

We were playing for a good 30-1 hour and then it just gives me a communication error and times me out even though WiFi is still on

EDIT: gg anyway incendiary i'm done for tonight. I feel like I have arthritis or something lol
 
Ike smashes so hard, he destroys internet connections.

I think I'm done for the night, Immaculate. Good games, even though you were kicking my ass every time! One thing I've learned is that nobody I play with has priority over any up smashes. Once I'm in the air, I need to change my strategies.

Saying things like that just depressed me. I think I'm around 37% right now. I suck.
 
Man, I've tried some non-Yoshi characters, but in most match-ups I start doing a lot better if I pick Yoshi. It's weird because I was horrible with him in past Smash games and he was never really that good of a character to begin with.

Rosie 4 lyfe against Peach tho

I'm not worried, because I'm getting the Wii U for local play to play with my friends. The 3DS version is what I'll play when I'm bored, getting in a few matches online before I go to bed. I'll likely not venture online as much in the Wii U version, unless there's some sort of awesome online mode.
 
Was there much online issues for the japanese version? I probably end up going a bit light on online for now. Maybe it be better in the morning.
 
Actually, does anyone have Target Blast tips in general? I'm not sure I really understand what the bomb percentage does. I thought it made the bomb explosion bigger, but it seems like it just makes the bomb fly further, which is not really a problem. The problem is placing it precisely.
 
Finally had my first online match where it didn't lag beyond playability (was still lag, but only that of a particularly bad LCD TV, haha..). Good times were had, the guy stayed for a few matches.

Any other Australians having a hard time finding stable online 1 v 1?
