I just had a sudden death in a stock match for I'm sure the first time in the gazillion Smash matches I've ever played. Not sure how many fractions of a second they measure KOs with, maybe it's less in Smash 4 than it has been previously in the series or did I just have some one in a million thing happen? ahah

I'm still bothered by the fact that Pokémon Trainer isn't still named Red. Heck, even Ash gets a mention but the guy whose design was used for a previous playable character not?

The delay between grabbing while dashing and the actual grab happening is annoying. Many times in matches me and my opponent are just dashing past each other missing grabs.

Lucky you. :(

Every game besides about two has had .5s input lag and it's driving me nuts since it messes up the majority of my play. ;~;

And good games M.D.L.!

Weird. Even when I'm in a game that's running slow, when I press an input, it comes out on time. If there's a delay, it hasn't been enough to notice. I'd notice a .5s one.

That sucks, what's the best way of approaching Little Mac with a full KO meter? I know he loses it if he gets hit a little bit but against a good player it too hard to predict when they're going to use it.
It damages you AND it's too risky and predictable. It's good once in a while to catch them off guard, but otherwise, it's eh.

I only ever use it like twice a game to punish when my oppent is at high percentages or to recover if I need to get back to the stage without using the ledge. You can't use it as a normal attack.

Went ahead and tried some For Glory. Ran into this Fox that just sat by the edge and lasered, rolled a lot, and spammed Smash attacks. I was playing DK so... it wasn't easy to deal with because I think there was some input delay. He beat me the first three or four times because of this but then I came back and brought it back to 3-3 or 4-4 before I left.

The game felt pretty smooth except towards the last few matches where it was starting to have some hiccups.

I also learned that SH double Bair with DK has to have some amount of commitment in this game vs Brawl so if I'm going to do it have to do it at the right time otherwise the second Bair won't come out and my input will get eaten instead leaving me open to an attack (this happened several times in the matches we played).

I learned that Fox is also pretty safe at the edge with his lasers vs DK, it is strangely hard to punish Fox for using his grounded lasers because of DK's relatively slow running speed. At least, every time I tried to punish he was able to smash attack me before I could get my grab out or my dash attack or my Dtilt/Ftilt. :/ (This is probably more of a symptom of the fact that it's FD stages only and if I had some platforms I could at least jump above and not have to stop every 2 seconds to shield to not take a bunch of chip damage).

Good news is that DK's Dtilt (trip) > Down B still works in this game like in Brawl and I think it works at farther ranges than before (Down B has slightly farther reach). So, he has that at least if everything else fails because of the connection. Down B is also nice for roll punishes (even though it's not a great punish the purpose is to get them out from behind you or in front).

OH and Up B out of shield with DK is a godsend in this game. Sooooo much more reliable and it always has good KB to get them out if you feel pressured + dat armor.

Weird. Even when I'm in a game that's running slow, when I press an input, it comes out on time. If there's a delay, it hasn't been enough to notice. I'd notice a .5s one.

Really my games are usually moving at normal speed/fairly smoothly but I just seem to have the input delay all the time.

wait they did that in Brawl?

Yeah, it's one of the most annoying things in Brawl.

If the CPU gets a Smash Ball, and their is at least one player in the match,
the CPU will go out of it's way just to get you with it.

Doesn't matter if you are losing, or if the other CPUs are in prime position, it will go after you, and you only.

Good games, Shamrock. I'm sorry I wasn't much of a challenge. I'm still getting used to playing on a 3DS, plus you're really good. Lemme sharpen my skills a little more, and I'll take you on another time! >:)

I really wish other heavies like Ike, Ganondorf, and Donkey Kong would've gotten the Bowser treatment. Where as Bowser's new buffs have seemed to bumped him up to the coveted "Sentinel heavy", these other dudes seem the same as ever. "Hey we're heavies. You might like us but we're really slow so yeah..."

At least Ganondorf got a few slight buffs and DK's still agile. I've noticed NOTHING new for Ike.

What's do you think's best way to earn a lot of coins?

I blew all my savings on 9.0-scale Classic mode attempts... (also, who's good for that mode?)

and there's trophies on sale at the shop!!

Ganondorf and Bowser shit on the last boss on any difficulty. Anyone with a good counter also fairs petty well.

Anyone up for a few 1v1s?

0645-5773-6302

I don't have too much experience with 1v1s against competent human players, so I have no idea how I'll do. I played a couple For Glory matches earlier and did okay, though.

All three.

Thanks! I just need to beat it 15 more times and then I'm done. The challenge will automatically unlock once I reach the third board, right? I'm still on the first one, and I'd hate to have to go through it another 51 times because I did it too early.

Anyone down for 1 v 1? If more people join that's cool too. Wanna try some characters I'm workin on.

Just opened a room. 2363-5644-5707

The fact that there's odd spaces(s) in the character and stage selection screens makes me believe there's DLC coming. The in-game data found for stages helps my belief.
