In that case, I would use characters that are not *complicated* to use first, like Captain Falcon, Pit (and Dark Pit), etc. and not those that have gimmicks things, like Palutena, Mega Man, etc.

Also, you can either learn a character by playing Smash game against CPU or Classic mode (I prefer Classic mode since you'll also unlock characters).

Little tips:
- Holding the standard attack button (default button A) "boost" that attack (more powerful)
- Usually, UP+B (special attack button) is the recovery move when you're out-of-stage.
- You can double-jump
- Holding the Shield button + Left or Right on the circle pad make your character "roll" in that direction, useful for evading an attack.

Yeah, I feel like more people need to post some of these really basic tips for getting started. Not everyone studies 5-10 year old games.

Ike's Aether breaks the credits mini game just so you know...

Edit: Apparently getting 100 custom items gets you an online profile icon. Got them all it says.

Smash Run can be sooooooo fun and give alot of goodies. Getting some sweet attacks for Fox that could help me customize him to be more like Wolf. Too bad SR can't be played online through.:/

Anyone know how to pull off a max combo of 100 hits in Training?

I found that Masterball Entei can combo about 70 hits, but there's another challenge panel for 100.

Edit: found solutions! Smart Bombs x4 or Ness infinite grab at 999%.

Someone putting together a smash bros 3ds friend code exchange thread?

That'd be great.

Add me, guys! Send me a PM with your FC. Running out of friend spaces!

I tried, anyway.

Mr. Game and Watch feels super fluid. Love the new design!

Also, Flat Zone 2 is rad in both omega form and in 3D! Feels like it was just designed for a handheld Smash. :)

I don't like his more rounded design for smash 4, personally. Definitely feels a lot better to play though.

Alright friends, how's it going?

So here's my deal. My Circle Pad's rubber cover thing is close to popping out, and I don't want to pay for a replacement system until the New 3DS hits the market (I'm in NA.) I'd rather keep playing Smash.

So what should I do, people? Should I see if replacement circle pad rubber things are viable, or maybe call Nintendo and hope I still have a valid warranty? Anyone?

Really? I find it's entirely too slow and too short-ranged to be useful except in very specific circumstances. Maybe I just need more practice.

There's a Ness player who won an invitational tournament as Ness a couple days ago. He's not afraid to use PK fire.
You're only as good as you want to be. Just keep practicing.

Was just checking. Thought some of those moves shouldn't have KO'd you. Feels so much more different than brawl/melee. Low percent deaths are now as common as high percentage now. gg with mac. Need to practice my greninja more.
Oh I put it down to 0.5 because I thought something was wrong my bad. Change it if you want

I do agree on waiting for next system update part, as I am. It says here on Ninty site that standard warranty is for 1 year.

It's usable without the cover. In some ways it feels a bit more tactile without it.

How did you do?

I didn't get to enter because people camped out in front of the store since midnight so it was packed for entrants since this morning.

It's whatever though. Congrats to the winner, Josh! (He's a member on here I believe)
You killed it as Zelda, man!

Also, I met some cool people here so it was still a fun experience.

What's do you think's best way to earn a lot of coins?

I blew all my savings on 9.0-scale Classic mode attempts... (also, who's good for that mode?)

and there's trophies on sale at the shop!!
