Someone putting together a smash bros 3ds friend code exchange thread?

That'd be great.

Add me, guys! Send me a PM with your FC. Running out of friend spaces!

Is there a way to tell when Robin's tomes have come back after being exhausted without actually using the move? Or do you just gotta get a feel for it?

I've had two instances now where people would all of a sudden play super poorly (or seem apathetic) after about 10 seconds of loading due to lag mid-match, but I realized after a few seconds that they had been replaced by Level 3 CPUs or something (which is what seems to happen if they drop out in the middle of the match). Lame. Better than kicking everyone back to the menu, I guess.

So I've looked at a bunch of sites that say you can unlock Jigglypuff if you beat Classic at 7.0 or higher.

But I just beat Classic as Kirby at 7.0 and nothing happened. What gives? Was this info just speculation?

Found two mistakes in Trophies...

* Onix in Snivy's is called "Onyx".

* Mega Man X is called a "Reploid", when technically he's not. They're based off him.

So I unlocked additional rules and when you set it to time and stock, the number you set controls both the stock and time. Ex: I set time and stock to 2, set the game to 2 mins with 2 stocks. There's no way I can set it to 2 stocks and 5 mins :(

All the unlock info is just speculation.

I unlocked Jigglypuff at 4.7 or so. Comparing notes with other people, none of us have gotten down consistent unlock criteria.

This would all be really cool if the game hadn't A) leaked the roster and B) come out in Japan a month early. People would be going crazy talking to each other trying to figure out what unlocks who.

Okay i had a really weird glitch. I was listening to the music in the sound area for over 4+ hours and decided to get a match in. When I got to the character select screen the sound didn't work and then once i chose the GB Kirby stage when the stage transforms the sound stopped playing.

Weird.

I've been getting glitches like that all day. It's really weird. The sound is the only thing effected.

"10 Consecutive Hours of Smash"

Does this just include the Smash Mode? So, no online, no Classic, etc.?

Seems I only have 53 minutes. Fuck.

I doubt it only includes Smash Mode because it takes into account the people you're playing with (e.g. if you played a 5 minute match with 4 players it would count as 20 minutes). I think online would at least have to count, too.

I'm playing as Bowser Jr. in a Smash game and I'm actually loving it. The attention to detail across him and the Koopalings is just insane, and I'm really intrigued in hearing Sakurai's comments on developing the character as a whole.

If that leak's real, he could probably somehow make SS Impa be cool in my eyes.

Oh, and Iggy 4 life!

99% of my online matches are painful. Aside from my games with Grizzo (who lives in France, so relatively nearby), the lag is unbearable. 1-2s input lag already kills it. And I've had flawless online experiences in all 3DS games that support it. Bummer.

Not in like 10 years, not seriously.

In that case, I would use characters that are not *complicated* to use first, like Captain Falcon, Pit (and Dark Pit), etc. and not those that have gimmicks things, like Palutena, Mega Man, etc.

Also, you can either learn a character by playing Smash game against CPU or Classic mode (I prefer Classic mode since you'll also unlock characters).

Little tips:
- Holding the standard attack button (default button A) "boost" that attack (more powerful)
- Usually, UP+B (special attack button) is the recovery move when you're out-of-stage.
- You can double-jump
- Holding the Shield button + Left or Right on the circle pad make your character "roll" in that direction, useful for evading an attack.
