Started my first online match, For Glory. My slide pad peeled off for the first time ever. Put it back on but the next two matches it came off again.

Fuck this version of the game.

If anyone wishes to add this Nils fellow, I hear he's pretty swell:

Some matches can get really intense...

For now I'm maining Mr Game & Watch, Dr Mario and Mii Swordfighter (which is actually Snoop Dogg)

Loving the game so far, not much to say about it. I wish we could communicate with other players between matches but... oh well what can you do.

I honestly don't stress this that much more than any other game, slide pad seems fine

That's probably what they think too until it falls off.

The console just wasn't made for the stress of games like these.

What's everyone thought on the Special Flag item? Personally I have turned it off as I feel giving a player an instance stock, point requires zero effort.

Plus I once lost to an AI using it when playing the Smash Bros 3DS demo.

I've already beaten classic mode with 27 characters. I love the length of it in this game, short but very, very sweet.

Just 9 more trophies until I unlock R.O.B!

I went against my first Little Mac online. Was kinda worried at first but the guy I was facing was helpless against Wario's neutral B.

Still not great against G&W no matter who I play as though.

Three things.

1) What the hell happened to Fox's VA...

2) The Mini Brawler is amazing.
Enjoying the fact that it makes ME one of my favourite characters. =D

3) Fuck Master Core and not knowing what items you're losing. >=C

Here's a nice overview of All-Star Mode (and the history of Nintendo characters/franchises):

Keep forgetting Mr Game & Watch is Nintendo's first character...the forgotten hero.

Nintendo's Oswald the Rabbit!

Edit: and I don't like Bowser Jr in that little pod. I wish he was just as he is, like a mini Bowser. The comic humor and charm is lost.

For some reason I'm having a lot of trouble against Bowser. I feel I can predict exactly what he's going to do 90% of the time, but the 10% he hits, it hurts a lot and he doesn't need a lot to KO, whereas I can juggle him around more than half the match and still get screwed in the end. A lot of his moves really wreck your shield.

Giving Sonic the Speed Crasher Agility Badge is the greatest thing ever. Crashing into enemies just by dashing like an idiot is a god send for Smash Run.

Also, when is Sakurai making an Action RPG?

I haven't had music for the past 3 matches. The SFX even cuts off at points so it's completely silent.

Can I quickly brb and reboot my system? It hasn't been turned off in ages, don't know if that'll cause problems.
That's fine with me but I'm not the host. :(
Edit: brb then.

It's a fun gimmick item, but definitely not something to regularly play with. I could see some cool special match potential with friends, like a Time match where you're only allowed to score by using flags.

GGs Spinasaurus, that Wario ain't anything to mess with lol.

I feel like I'm the only person who would use the D-pad if that option was available. Would be so much easier that maneuvering on that circle pad

I dunno, the 3DS' D-pad is so mushy I'm not sure how much of an improvement it'd be. And how would you distinguish between tilts and smashes?

They could have swapped one of the jump buttons with a dedicated tilt button I guess. I don't think D-pad movement would have been any good, even slight movement of the circle pad affects how the player travels.
