pretty much this, when playing with gaf in MK8 i got destroyed, won once in a while but knew i wasn't that good

I am thinking Ness might be Lil mac's worst matchup

When I played against JoeInky he fucked me up with Fair. If I DI away, I end up too far away from the stage to recover. If I DI into him, he does like two more combo hits with Fair and then I'm too far away from the stage to recover. I just held towards and hoped he screwed up.

Lots of characters have stuff like this against Mac. Just get him off the stage and he's done. Camp near the ledge if you have to.

Yep. I ended up plugging my XL into my surround sound system, and it's really fantastic to listen to. I tried using some decent headphones, but the sound output is too quiet on Nintendo systems for whatever reason.

The screen still seems small (and I prefer the normal 3DS for graphics most of the time), but I felt like I was missing out or squinting with the og 3DS, so...

I've been on and off with him so far today, but once that rhythm gets going it's pretty easy to juggle with his Up A and Left A. Easily my favorite character along with Toon Link.

I already did that. I mean that Nintendo's products in general have terrible output. The Wii U's gamepad is quiet, both versions of the 3DS... even with headphones on, they're quieter than almost any other device I own. It's not like it's a huge problem or anything, since I'm not the kind of guy to jack the volume up to 11 on everything, but it's noticeable.

I know the feeling. I think I'd be less annoyed if it were three stock. The amount of accidental self-destructs have ruined so many games where I was soundly ahead.
