My Best Buy has been open for 45 minutes, but I have no car. I.E., I'm Smash-less for a few more hours until someone brings back the one car I actually drive.

you can play it in normal smash mode you just have to unlock the additonal rules option

also something i noticed that happened rarely was that there is infact notices of what kind of game it will be at the end like kirby air ride just not as frequent

i enjoy smash run alot since using the custom equips like + speed or attack and marathoning the map with powers and such makes the experience a lot more fun at least for me lol
 
OMG. Cruel smash is fucking brutal. Those mii's don't fuck around. Took a million tries to finally get one kill with captain falcon.

I'm just editing some stuff on Project M to bring it more in line with what the Smash scene on campus uses as their default stage set to kill time. Hopefully my mom comes back with the car, soon (as I don't get my own for another year tops).

About 51-11 in For Glory right now. Most people can't handle the power of the Monado!

Netcode was pretty rough at first, but it eventually smoothed out for me. Got a lot of good fights.
 
Played Online (my internet isn't as bad as I thought...gotta sit right next to the router tho).

1 on 1 was pretty smooth. Free for All less so (still was able to get through it).

However...I quickly learned how free I am tho.

Got one win with Fox in 1 on 1. Lost badly with everyone else lol. (Won both free for alls with Ike and Wario).

It's playable but I'm waaay to garbage to stick around against randoms lol.

Super fun games
 
Unlocked Lucina and Dark Pit so far.

Really liking the way Lucina plays, even if she's 99% Marth-clone :P

Robin and Greninja are also really fun, and I love the changes to Zero Suit Samus.

Shulk is a bit odd, but I definitely want to master him.

Annnnnd that about sums up what I've played so far :P
 
Whats everyone thinking about the online so far? About half my matches are great, no or very little lag, and the other half are basically unplayable.

Also feel free to add me at 5129 0658 4329. I will start adding some Gaffers in this thread as well, although based on my friends list half of the people I friended through Pokemon are playing Smash right now :D.

I have only seen 1 Shulk so far, but I think he was still figuring it out... may have to spar against you to see how a good Shulk plays :).

Weirdly enough, humanoid Master Core is manageable for me (outside the arm grab thing and push wave), but I always come out in death percentage.

Master Core is the one that does me in once, with sword Master Core finally finishing me off.

It weird how most brawl bosses were 'meh' to fight, but he's really damn fun. Makes me wonder how Smash 4 would've handled the stage bosses if they were standalone.
 
Jesus Rosalina has so much priority. That Luma doesn't stay dead long enough, especially with her roll.

Starting to get the hang of new Falco, and I like him. Still can't tell if he's actually good or not though.
 
I managed to unlock all the characters after Falco by just playing For Fun and For Glory matches :D I love the online. Too bad it's so limited.

Glory has been great for me. I rarely encounter a laggy player.

I'm not sure why the game even gives you allies on 9 intensity. The enemies never attack them and your allies just kind of walk around and don't fight.
 
Can someone explain how Smash Power works? I don't understand it, I thought it was supposed to be like an overall leaderboard thing but it seems to be segmented off to individual modes.
 
I've been trying out Robin and he/she's definitely better than I expected. One of the newcomers I'm better at using. On the other hand, I can't do shit with Marth, Yoshi or Jigglypuff lol. Oh yeah, For Glory should be named For Doc Louis.
