Oh, so I suppose it's in vogue to talk about your online experience, but the match I just played with Pancakes felt pretty smooth. Might have been some input lag, since I feel like I kept trying to go for throws and they kept being broken before I managed it, but that might have just been bad reflexes on my part.

As a Brawl Olimar main, he's definitely taking some getting used to. Having Pikmin be in a set order helps a lot, but adjusting to just three Pikmin requires more care on the player's part and they nerfed the range of his smashes (particularly the Up one, which was killer). He's still really fun, but don't expect to be using the same tactics.

He seems really, really nerfed to me overall. His aerials are the most affected though, lots of landing lag and his fair just doesn't have the punch, reach or connection it used to. Maybe it's just the engine change, but it all worked out for the worse for him so far.

I'll keep at it later tonight, but for now I had to drop him. Too much of an uphill climb for very little reward.

Yea the match was 100% lagless on my end. Much better than brawl.

has this happened for anyone for some reason my vs match unlocks are going kinda wacky lol

so the order of unlocks were
lucina-used the marth unlock method
falco after 1 smash
ness after 1 more
then wario after about 15 or so matches
dark pit through classic

i think the top bits were normal but the weird thing is i unlocked jigglypuff before dr.mario,ganon,rob,jr, g and w, and dhd i dont really know what i did but i found that really weird lol now it seems my unlocks are kinda going in order?

Keeping for consistency, we've seen Olimar in many pictures in the Wii U version already and iirc when he debuted they showed the 3 Pikmin limit in Wii U pics and stuff.

Some things I've noticed. Marth's d-air is different. It's hard for me to figure out the sweet spot that spikes opponents.

Also, it seems like they nerfed Ness's b-air and d-air. Why? Ness was already low-ish tier, he does NOT need nerfing. Then again, I have seen some really good Ness players on Youtube. Maybe I just need to change up the way I play him.

And HOLY CRAP, I get WRECKED whenever I play Wii Fit Trainer. How do you use her/him??
