I just unlocked Magnicant and..holy shit, the goddamn Flying Men should've been a character. I didn't have to do shit that entire match.

Like...damn.
 
Have we talked about how we have the basic layout for the Wii U's main selection screen? If you click on the Wii U option in the 3DS version, it lets you see it.

It's just as replayable and compact as the new Classic mode for me; that, and I love the novelty of the enemies/BGM/events. I'd still be playing it if I didn't consider unlocking stuff a priority.

My only real gripes are the lack of event options and...not being able to interact with the CPUs, I guess.
 
I think I've finally gotten used to button jumping. Life feels good.

I think I could go for some 1v1 multiplayer matches if anyone feels like adding me. FC is 3668-7701-9486.

Never played smash bro before, but I'm at best buy right now and the game is calling me. What's the verdict for people who are now married and just like to play casually? I'm guessing it's a good "pick up and play 5 minutes" after coming home from work at 10pm due to overtime?

Have 200 trophies and then do a VS match.
 
had some pretty funny for fun rounds a couple minutes ago.

played a team for fun mode and got partnered with a lucina player. i was male robin.

the matches we played were fun, but whenever we teamed up, the player would follow me when the time was running low and would keep taunting (the one where lucina flips her hair i think) and wouldn't stop following me. lol
 
Anybody want to play? I was having a ton of fun 1v1ing a random and then it started to lag, which ruined it. We were pretty much on par skill wise.

Edit: I can't believe there isn't a recently played against option. I really wanted to add that person!
 
Geez, it's a pain in the ass to get all the custom moves. There's like 350+ custom moves to get, you don't need to give me three duplicates...

Checking again after playing some more -- does anyone who has played Donkey Kong know how this works? The CPU escapes so quickly it seems impossible to hit anything after the ground bury besides a single neutral or side A. No smash or charge punch.


On another note, I am playing each fighter in order to try the moves, including final smashes. I like Kirby's new final smash, but the one that cracks me up the most so far is probably Luigi's. I love the hilarious KACHOOK sound as people blast out of the vacuum.
